We had Z&Z come out to install washer water hookups and a refrigerator water supply. They recommended that we reconfigure our existing pipes to add a proper washer drain. They showed up when they said they would, got the work done quickly and did it right. They actually ended up saving us a bunch of money on our sewer lateral replacement because of their recommendations. To top it all off, I got a call a few hours after the work was completed to let me know that they had accidentally overcharged me due to an internal miscommunication about the original estimate. I had been happy to pay what they had asked, and they could have easily taken the extra money and said nothing. Instead, they had the integrity to be honest with me and return the extra money. I will absolutely be returning to them for any future plumbing needs.

Z and Z Plumbing was referred to me by another plumbing company as they weren't available when I needed them. Z and Z recognized my urgency (toilet had to be removed and a new replacement part installed) and went out of their way to get to my home in a timely manner and repair the toilet. The plumber, Salih, was professional and really cared about customer service. They are now my favorite plumbers and I will make sure I call them first in the future!

I called Z and Z Plumbing today to address my shower and tub drainage issues. Sal gave me a call back right away, and squeezed me into their already back-to-back schedule today. I was very satisfied with the service, giving me an assessment of the issue, cost estimation and possible work needed to be done. From start to finish, Sal resolved our issue in less than an hour. Professional staff and they come out to give you a quote quickly. They Ave replaced the sewer lateral on two of my homes that i own and beat out competitors prices. I most definitely recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Sal came by to check out my leaking shower, and was very professional and informative. He even made an exception to come on a Saturday because I couldn't take time off during the week, which I really appreciated. After a thorough inspection by his ""process of elimination"", he diagnosed the issue and gave a cost effective solution. I'll be using Z&Z in the future.

Unreliable like many in this business.

The technician came out to give an estimate on a lot of work in our Oakland home. All he had to do was give us a bid. The timing was also of the essence because the plumbing issue also involved an insurance claim.

The technician said he would get back to us the following day. Nothing. Not only did Z and Z not return the calls, they didn't even answer the phone or return voicemails. The insurance adjuster also called with the same non-results.

Needless to say, I went with another company that was great and responsive.

BEWARE - terrible service and even more horrific customer service! I contacted Z & Z for a seemingly simple job--fix a blocked toilet (nothing crazy had been thrown or dropped in the toilet, it just simply stopped working). However, the whole experience turned into a nightmare. The company sent a tech, named Seif (I think he may also be the owner), who cleared the toilet using an auger--the whole thing took him 15-20 min for which he charged us $125. This all would have been fine, except Seif had been too auger-happy and extremely rough in those 20 minutes. After Seif left, my husband realized immediately that there was damage to our toilet. HUGE, deep scratches had been made all over the inside the toilet bowl--auger marks left by Z & Z. These scratches will rust and quickly degrade the toilet over time. Not a single time before, during, or after the work did Seif warn or alert us to the damage--he simply collected his money and left. We immediately called Z & Z back within the same hour to try to catch Seif but could not get a hold of anyone as it was just before the end of the business day at 5pm (they do not have an answering machine). So we emailed the company with our concerns and attached pictures of the damage. First thing the next morning, I called Z & Z to notify them of the damage. The receptionist/office manager told me she would have the owner call me back immediately--that was on Feb 27, 2018.

Needless to say, after 3 weeks, 6 phone calls from me, and 2 emails also from me--no one from the company has yet to call me back. Z & Z simply hasn't bothered responding. Each time I call, the receptionist tells me that the owner is aware of the issue and will call me back. He never does. When I asked for the owner's name, they refuse to give it to me.

I'm very upset that I hired a so-called ""professional"" company to provide professional service. I expect them to know how to unplug a toilet without damaging it. And I expect them to take full responsibility for their mistake and fix it. Instead, I get the run-around every time I call or email. This isn't customer service! In fact, they straight up just cheat their customers.

Don't go with this unprofessional company, they don't value their customers. They'll damage your property and then ignore you. I've reported them to BBB. Photos of damage below (if Yelp lets me post the pics).

I had a tenant with a broken water heater & called Z and Z plumbing based on their good reviews. They responded quickly with a quote and a plan to try trouble shooting before replacing the water heater itself. I got an appointment quickly- which my tenant appreciated. They called ahead so I could meet them there, and I can't tell you how many companies fail to do that! The service engineers were right on time. They were professional, helpful, and got the problem fixed quickly. I will definitely use them again.

Do not even bother with this company. We called 4 times, and no one even had the courtesy to call back. We contacted another co. Star plumbing and they said they would be here in one hour.

My call was answered promptly. My non-emergency was scheduled for less than 24 hours later. The plumber arrived at the beginning of the window. Jamie was great - courteous, answered all of my questions, and fixed my under-the-kitchen-sink leak quickly. I would definitely use again or recommend to others.
