A+++ service. Their response time when you request a quote is very quick - a few minutes in my case. I decided to schedule an appointment for an estimate within the next few days. My plumbing issue wasn't an emergency so it was good. My plumber arrived on time and he was truly awesome!!! I have a 90-year-old home with the original plumbing which was clogged and effecting my washing machine drainage. Eddie, my plumber, diagnosed the problem, was able to clear up the clog and within a few hours, had those old pipes clog-free and I was able to run the washing machine. The best news, though, was hearing that my old pipes could go another few years without replacing the entire plumbing system. Yayyyy! As a retiree living on a fixed income, that's great to hear.

Eddie was a very honest, really sweet and professional young man. He really knew his craft, explained what he was doing and went that extra mile. The costs were reasonable in my opinion - so glad I didn't need to spend the thousands immediately to repipe.

Really honest, speedy and professional company. I will definitely use them again for my future plumbing needs.

Z and Z Plumbing just finished a mandated sewer-lateral replacement for all mid-rise buildings like ours. They were very professional, very knowledgeable, courteous, easy to work with, and charged a very reasonable price compared to other bids I got. By 2021, all mid-rise buildings in the East Bay area have to have this work done. I recommend Z and Z without reserve.

I would highly recommend using Z & Z plumbing for your sewer issues. My shower was backing up. The smell indicated it was the sewer line. I called Z & Z Plumbing. They scheduled a visit, showed up on time, noted that I didn't have the ideal clean-out access, showed me a camera view of the roots causing the stoppage, snaked the line, and gave me an estimate for replacing the original clay tile lateral sewer line using the trenchless system. When the shower backed up again, I agreed to have the lateral sewer replaced and proper clean-out installed. While waiting for a break in the rainy weather to schedule the job, they snaked the line again at no charge. The work was done efficiently and neatly, all with proper permit. The pavers and broken cement were replaced. All dealings with Seif in the field were professional. He took the extra time and effort to crawl under the house looking for a proper pipe clean-out. All administrative dealings with Jay in the office were professional.

(The only minor suggestion for improvement I have would be to let me know ahead of time when the work was scheduled to be done. Of course, this is much better than having to call multiple times to beg for the work to be done.)

Z and Z plumbing saved me from desperation. A drain blockage from a nasty grease clog showed up in the middle of a rain storm, and water was pouring out of the p-trap. I replaced all the external hardware myself -- it took a whole day-- then the wall started leaking. I was about to cut the wall out, and realized that I better summon a professional before my amateur plumbing really backfired. After another plumber left me high and dry, Z & Z sent a technician right away. He fixed my leaky wall pipe without cutting the wall out and undid my clog too, all in under a few hours. I was expecting to pay thousands, but all my emergency repairs were under 500$. Such a relief! The plumber was affable, professional and sympathetic. From here on out, they're going to be my #1.

These guys from Z and Z Plumbing are heaven sent! My water heater went cold all of a sudden although the pilot light is on. The heater is only a couple of years old. The BF consulted YouTube and was tempted to repair it himself. I told him that we should just get professional plumbers as the work requires being on your belly to deal with removing and installing the parts. I talked to a live person when I called Z and Z. They were on the dot as scheduled on the same day. They performed exactly what we have seen on YouTube. It turns out that the water heater filter needed cleaning (also according to YouTube). They got the job done efficiently. The men were courteous and friendly. They volunteered to remove their shoes and cleaned up before they left. Their price was also really reasonable. These guys are legit!

The first time I used them, they were a referral from my normal plumber. They were great. They were fast, on time and clean. When I had a recent problem, I decided to use them. They called to tell me that they were running late. After they arrived, they told me that I need to replace the appliance. They said that the dispatcher would reschedule me for a couple of days later. I agreed to buy the appliance. When I did not hear from the dispatcher on the day of the appointment, I called. The dispatcher said that I would be scheduled between 2-4. When they did not arrive after 4:00 pm, I called the dispatcher. She said that she would elevate it an emergency and the plumber would call. The plumber did not call and I called the dispatcher again at 5:45. She said that the plumber would call. It is now two days later and I still haven't gotten a call.

Called for a laundry line clean out that we'd put off for SIX MONTHS. Seriously, it took hours to do just one load. For months. Finally called, Santana was out within ONE HOUR (it was obviously not an emergency) and he did a great job, professionally and quickly. Now I'm going to laundry just for fun. I'll probably wash some clean clothes. Thanks, Z&Z!

After seeing that Eddie did not put the cover back on the water heater and he took the new igniter I just bought, I've removed a star. While I don't think it was intentional, in any service industry you should always clean up after yourself, put things back together and not remove things that aren't yours from the premises. I have to say I noticed the cover wasn't replaced and the old part was left there right after, but wasn't going to change my review until I went to light my canela and cannot.
