We wanted pipes redone on kitchen sink,and hose bibs replaced on outside faucets. Turns out the plumber didn't want to charge by the hour, but by the job. Each hose bib he wanted $150 each. Then so much for the work on the kitchen sink pipes that the bill came to over $800 which included a inexpensive faucet. Worst, he worked all afternoon and late into the night! Why? That was only about 6 months ago. A new plumber came today, had to redo everything under sink, which was leaking, told me it was done incorrectly and with inferior parts. I feel like I've been had. I will never call Yucaipa Plumbing again.

This was a repeat visit from Yucaipa Plumbing for a reason: Trust, integrity, work done on time with meticulous attention to detail and within the cost estimate. This is the essence of customer service. Along the way he kept me abreast of what the water heater repair process entailed. Its location is the kind of place that would give a plumber a nightmare, cramped, old, but accessible given the right tools and the right person. Basically to repair the type of issue I had required the entire unit be removed, the repair affected and then a reinstall. What impressed me especially was upon completion it appeared the drain valve may have been leaky. To make sure it wasn't, he replaced it. A lesser repairman would've put a cap on it and called it a day.

We called out several local plumbing companies to advise us what to do about an overflowing water heater. All companies diagnosed a faulty water pressure regulator but Yucaipa Plumbing was literally the only one that said "" it doesn't matter if we do the work or someone else - you really should have this done to save yourself money and headache in the future"" . Vince was punctual and professional. Prices were comparable to all the other companies we had out. Easy to work with and transparent with the work and fees.

Vince came to our house to assess a plumbing situation in our bathroom. After he gave a recommendation, I asked him a question that he couldn't answer. It was a very simple, general question that he refused to answer by saying, ""I didn't become a plumber to explain my recommendations."" Needless to say, we didn't hire him.

I called at 7 am when they opened. They told me they could come at 12 noon which was okay with me. He arrived at 1pm after calling the office again. He didn't want to do the job and made an exaggerated reason there could be asbestos in my attic. I called another plumber who had no problem going into my attic and fixed the leaks. I won't call again!
