I called Chris to ask about an estimate for shower pressure services. I gave one star because he actually picked up when I called and we had a text conversation that included a quote for his services.
However, after asking him when he could come and do the work, it has been 2 days since our last communication. I was really bummed because he seemed like a reliable and nice person. I have been patiently waiting for his reply, but at this rate I will have to look for someone else.

It says a 5 hour response time for a quote, with 100% response rate. I asked for a quote exactly one week ago and haven't heard anything.

I called Chris to get a quote on helping us repair our bathroom after water damage. He answered all of my questions and made time to come give me an estimate right away. His quote was in the same ball park as the other estimates I had received and he even worked with our budget to help us get the job done. He sent two workers who showed up on time and where VERY nice and they worked hard to instal new insalation and dry wall. They also put in two new exhaust fans as well as some other electrical jobs. They worked with our roofer to instal the vents through our tile roof. The guys did not even take a lunch until 2:00 because they where working so hard. I have never written a review on yelp but I was so impressed with Your Local Handyman that I had to say something. Chris not only took the time to help me with my bathroom he was also kind and took time to call me with a doctor recommendation for my son who was ill. It is hard to find a nice contractor who does not just wants to nickel and dime you. I feel lucky that we found this company and I will definotly be useing them again and recommending them .

I've worked with a good number of handymen, plumbers, general contractors, etc. I usually don't trust them due to a few bad experiences. But Chirs is very trustworthy. He came by to fix a leaking drain. He quickly figured out what was, gave me an overview of what was wrong and went to go buy the parts needed. He had everything up and running in no time.

He's was on time and was very knowledgeable (I know because I asked him 104 questions while he was here) and very professional. I highly recommend using his services when you are in need.

Chris and his team installed a pair of through-the-wall AC units for us last week.
They were polite, very fast, efficient and all-round a top-notch outfit -they are always my first choice for any contractor work. I have had the privilege of his services in the past with another property and he is consistent, very knowledgeable and provides a sense of confidence which is well deserved.

Chris and his team did a bathroom remodel in my townhouse. We had been talking with Chris on and off for a while (we were dragging our feet) and when we decided to pull the trigger, Chris jumped on it and got started demo literally the next day.

We realized in the process that we had some insect and mold issues, which Chris was extremely responsive about and worked with the exterminator to coordinate timing.

Once all the demo was done and they got to work on the tub and tile, everything went pretty smoothly. We ran into the normal bumps along the way, but Chris and I spoke nearly every day and was at our house a couple of times per week checking on his team's progress.

The costs are reasonable and extremely transparent. We are really happy with the outcome of our bathroom and Chris will be the first and only call we make as we decide on the next project that we undertake.

I had a leaking pipe in the wall, which I discovered Friday night. Saturday morning I called Your Local Handyman, Chris, and he came out promptly, and stayed much of the day until the leaking pipe was replaced! I recommend him with no hesitation and will definitely call on him again.
