Positives: came to the house on time, did not smell of beer, did not bend over and show his ass crack while working, worked fast, was able to communicate in English, and told me I could get free replacement parts for my Pfister and Moen faucets directly from the manufacturer - that was useful information because apparently both of those companies offer free lifetime replacement part warranties and so today I ordered parts (no charge for the parts or for shipping) from both of them online to repair leaking faucets purchased years ago and for which I have no purchase receipts.

Negative: charged $189 to replace one cartridge in one bathroom faucet, a two minute job. Would not give a price reduction when asked. So if just on the price issue alone it would be 1 star.

My husband had Marc come out and give an estimate for some work to be done for a rental unit. For that job we ended up going with someone else, but my husband kept Marc's contact info because he liked Marc and felt he was a straight shooter.

Recently, we had some plumbing issues at our house and decided to call Marc up again. His service was excellent - pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The final cost was a little more than originally estimated, but the job did turn out to be more involved than initially thought. He still cost slightly less than the previous plumber we had come out to deal with the same issue 6 months prior - plus he gave us more much information than the previous plumber about what our situation was, and he didn't charge us for an additional item that we originally thought we'd be charged for. He was able to show us via camera what our pipes looked like before and after his work, and he saved the video for us on a memory stick that we provided him (don't ask me, my husband wanted to see it!). Finally he provided us with a viable solution for how to handle this issue on our own going forward. That was invaluable to my husband.

We will definitely be calling Marc in the future with plumbing issues, and we highly recommend him to others.

I called Mark for a plumbing upgrade. He was on time, knowledgeable, and honest. I ended up not even needing his services after he explained the situation in more detail. I will call Mark int he future for repairs or upgrades and recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber.

Mark is by far the best plumber in San Clemente! While we were away on vacation our kitchen sink backed up. Our neighbor called another plumber who snaked the line for 3 hrs with no success. He concluded that our line must be collapsed and quoted us $20K to jackhammer though our concrete slab and replace the line. We where devastated to hear this news and cut our vacation short to come home and deal with the problem. When we got home, we called Mark (thanks to his wonderful yelp reviews) for a 2nd opinion. Mark couldn't have been more professional, friendly, and trustworthy. Shortly after inspecting the line he reassured us that it wasn't collapsed and just badly clogged. He told us that if he couldn't clear it, he wouldn't charge us and he'd recommend another plumber to come try but under no circumstances should we have to jackhammer through our floor. Huge relief! He cleared the line after working on it for 1.5 hrs and we couldn't have been more appreciative of his service! Hands down the most positive experience we've ever had with any plumber!
