I have used Your Handyman twice thus far and both times they did a great job. They replaced a leaking kitchen faucet the first time and fixed a garden faucet leak the second time (Mark actually came out to do the work himself this time!). Very impressed with how quickly they got the job done within an hour each time, and the leaks were fixed for good. Highly recommended!

Your Handyman provides outstanding support for all types of home projects. Mark and his staff have provided handyman services several times over the past five years for everything from complex furniture assembly, to expert home repair including electrical and plumbing work, to hanging art on the walls. Each time, the contractor who has been to my home has been on time, careful to listen to what I needed, and thorough in completing the job skillfully and quickly. I always feel like my money has been well-spent on having a professional complete the various tasks to my satisfaction, and I am pleased to recommend Mark and his crew to others who need expert home support.

From start to finish a great experience!
Hired Mark and his team to construct an outdoor built-in grill and got a great result. They handled it all - from steel framing, through plaster, plumbing, and install of components. Everything went off without a hitch and the result is great! It took awhile to get on their calendar, but the wait was worth it. They showed up on time, and as promised. Will definitely use them again.

My kids gave me Your Handyman for my birthday to fix a few things. The person arrived at 7:55 instead of 8:00 and was cheerful willing and able to do most repairs. The problem for me is the up-charging policy! He stayed till 11:00 (actually a bit before) and charged us for 3 1/2 hours although the last half hour included NO WORK! I told him as he wrote up the bill that I thought that wasn't? okay, especially as he had taken two brief phone calls. He said it is the company policy on time to ""round up."" I am saddened by this lack of integrity and honesty. It is ironic that although the person who came out was competent and friendly?, that rip-off is what I will remember. I left? a phone message for the owner who didn't call? me back as yet. I wish I could have written a better review, but buyer beware and keep track of the time. I can't use them? again but it wasn't based upon the quality of work.

UPDATE: The owner called and is making this right, so rating changed to 4 stars (was 3 before).

What a waste of my time ad energy in the middle of my remodel project. This guy was so lame, He wasted my time, not sure if he is a Pot Head or what but he wanted my job, then was a no show, the did not call back, I had to keep initiating the process, then he forgot who I was then after saying he was going to do my job over an over one day 2 months later he tells me Ya know I don't think your project is something our company wants to take on. Pfft. It was pretty simple maybe a $2500 project but I guess surf was up??!! Anyway I would not recommend him to anyone. I hate when people don't call me back and I hate when they don't follow through. Not professional at all.

This company is great! We have had Mark and his crew do several projects for us around our place and they were always done on time, very professionally, and super tidy in the process! I just don't understand the bad reviews they have received - it doesn't match our experience at all! All I can think of is that the negative reviews are from competitors or something. Mark, the owner, is such a competent, nice, and gentle soul that it upsets me that anyone would curse at him or his employees - they have all been so very professional and great to work with!

It's hard to give these guys a review because they stiffed us for 2 appointments to cut our cabinet out for our new refrigerator at our Santa Barbara condo. They had photos to review and know what the job required. Calling them to see what happened and they didn't even apologize. It cost me a week to get someone else with the frige in the living room. At least you could have given a token phone call. Customer service is way below average.

Unprofessional. We hired 'Your Handyman' for our SB place because of all the great reviews. However, these are the photos AFTER our job was primed and ready for paint, not to mention the mess left behind on our new hardwood floors.

This company is terrific! I am not particularly handy, so it is so nice to be able to rely on a company that is so great. We had them install new toilets (very efficient - did them quickly) and a ceiling fan, and new faucets in our bathrooms. They are very tidy and know how to fix almost anything! I just can't say enough about how good their services are - they always show up right on time or call if they are running late, too. Call them - you won't regret it!
