they were fine initially. i never asked around for other quotes. just accepted his quotes and they got started even though it was a little higher than expected. but in addition to the major replacement of drainage to our house, they also installed a new water heater. this was a year ago. and prior to hiring him, jake said he would take care of the permits and inspection. after the job was done, he said i had to do it. it never passed inspection. worse, the water heater stopped working. we had someone else come take a look at it. and they said the heater was too big for the number of bathrooms we had. and it was poor installed and now the heater needs to be remounted. i'm very disappointed.

A pipe started leaking heavily late on Friday night and water was coming through a vent in the ceiling. I did a quick search for a plumber and Your City Plumbing was the only one to respond. This was after hours and even though they could not make it out that night, the person over the phone walked me through how to shutoff the water to the house to prevent a complete flood. Jake the plumber was there the next morning and he was able to find the source of the leak and had water running within a couple of hours. He made sure to get everything cleaned up and followed up a couple of days later once everything dried to make sure the ceiling was patched up. Jake was very knowledgeable and gave me options to pick from to get the repair done then and there. He also suggested some upgrades that would prevent this from happening in the future and I will schedule a follow up at a later date to get that done. I appreciate everyone's professionalism from the moment I called.
