Young's plumbing saved my week worth of time and money in less than 2hrs!

My kitchen sink was clogged and would not drain anything. So I went to my garage to pop that thick pipe open but would not work. I had few guys use their guns(muscles) to open pipes up, still no use.

I went to Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and other hardware stores for help, but I ended up wasting so much time and money. I returned everything I bought. Sad, sad, and sad, I was.

I called young's plumbing 730AM on Saturday, and they said they will call me back in couple hours. But to my surprise, they called back in 10mins and showed up on my porch less than 30mins.

John, the plumber/pipe repairer took 30mins to open that troublesome pipe with his machine and sucked 10years of ROTTEN nastiness.

He only charged $100, and my sink is back to life!
Definitely calling young's plumbing in the future.

This guy came to my aid on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend after my first plumber left me without a working hot water heater. He was less money than the flaky guy but came in and fixed all the issues that were left from before. Thank you for giving us hot water! You now have a house full of fans.

Called Young in for fixing a leaky kitchen sink. He did just a perfect job.
A few things outstanding about him.

-- Young himself picked up the phone and showed up himself.

I value professional who pickup the calls and figure out what could be wrong..instead of non-professionals reading a list of questions.. scheduling arbitrary times and quoting arbitrarily from a price book. Obviously, the non-techs..with the fear of being wrong(which they are mostly)..jack up the time it takes to fix something and charge a bit more ( to avoid looking bad in front of their manager)

-- He came in less than 2 hours from the call.

Many I called are scheduling call for the next day.


-- Came to provide free estimate.

Which is way better than a few I called here. They were charging an hour minimum for the visit.

-- Used quality parts( he had them)

We could see the difference

-- Did a quality job and promptly

-- Fixed the wash sink free...and showed us how to do it the next time.

My sink was leaking and wet my floor pretty bad. I read review about this company an called for help.
He showed up started checking and showed me where was leaking. I end up replacing entire sink. He spent so much time but the fee he charged was much less then I expected. I realized how important to read reviews before I decided who to call and how they each professionals takes care of their clients and business.

Another 5 star review! He was able to come the net day (I had a slightly leaky faucet but not urgent). He was prompt, actually showed me what the problem was and what he was doing, and very reasonably priced!

Young replaced the leaky pipe from the street to my house. I was very happy with the work initially, but afterwards we've had 3 related issues. After the second time, he won't even return my calls anymore. My experience has gone from ""exceeds expectations"" to ""misses expectations."" I have doubts about his thoroughness, and the customer service leaves something to be desired.

The pipe that is draining our kitchen sink and the washer/dryer was clogged up on Friday night, rendering the kitchen and the washer/dryer unusable. Based on recommendations from co-workers, I called Mr. Young on Saturday, described the problem, and he said he could come by Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday he showed up on time, and after looking through the plumbing he found some issues with the way the kitchen sink drain was setup. He also explained what is wrong with the clogged up drain pipe and how to fix it permanently using digrams. He said he can fix the pipes, but we would need to call a rooter to take care of the clog. After discussing the problem and the alternatives, I decided to get the pipes fixed and Mr. Young gave me an estimate which was very reasonable.

He immediately got to work, paying close attention to what needs to be done, and making a trip to the store to get some extra parts he needed because our extra-deep sink caused trouble for the standard fittings. When he was done with the sink, I was very pleased with the end result. It looked much more solid, neat, and expertly done compared to what we had before.

After tackling the sink, he examined the piping a little more to see if he can help out with the clog as well, and eventually he decided to use a water hose to try and unclog the pipe through the opening on the outside of the home. Luckily for us it worked and we did not have to make another call to a rooter.

Between the extra parts needed and the dealing with the clog, Mr. Young ended up spending almost double the time and effort compared to his initial estimate, yet he still charged the same amount. I even offered him to pay more since he went beyond what we agreed on, but he did not accept it.

The whole time he was very nice, explained what we was doing, and showed how I can do it myself the next time instead of calling him. I don't think I will be calling any other plumber as long as Mr. Young is available and I definitely recommend him to other Yelpers.

Simply my favorite contractor!! I remodeled my home in 2005 from bottom to top, hiring so many contractors one by one and Young's plumbing covered many projects such as complete re-piping, tankless water heater installation with auto-circulating undersink instant hot water pump system, water softener, 2 bathrooms, and kitchen. The craftsmanship of the owner (Young Jeon) from his long carrier in plumbing work was superb; he was extremely responsive to any feedback & request.

I introduced him to a few of my friends of mine later and all of them were very satisfied too. I recommend him wholeheartedly!!

Do not get this confused with a Young's Plumbing in San Francisco, Chen, which you do not want to know about. I have no experience with this one, but thought in case anyone checks this out thinking it is the one in SF, it is not.
