I'm posting this to help others avoid the experience I've had with Brandon Young, a contractor I hired to pour a concrete patio in Union County, Ohio.

I paid Brandon a $4,500 deposit. Despite repeated assurances, the work was never completed. He delivered asphalt chips instead of construction gravel, which damaged my yard, my neighbor's, and a public area. I had to pay for repairs out of pocket. He missed scheduled work dates, failed to follow through, and has refused to return my full deposit.

I've sent a certified demand letter, filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General, and am now moving forward with small claims court.

If you're considering hiring this individual or his business, I encourage you to do your research and protect yourself.
