Of the FIVE area plumbers I contacted about a small repair I needed, only two of them responded. Of the two, only Curtis was willing to do that small of a job. He showed up exactly when he promised to and wrapped it up in less than an hour. If I ever have a larger job, I know who I am going to call.

We had a leaking hot water line in our crawl space, discovered by an A/C maintenance technician. My husband didn't think it would require a lot of work, but didn't have the time to figure out what pieces he would need to fix it. All the ""major"" plumbing places were booked out 5-12 days, and we were headed in vacation the next business day.

Curtis Leonard of Yore Place fit us in the same day, even offering to deliver the necessary part and explain how to do it ourselves to save money! Such a nice guy. I just had him do it for us (it was indeed a quick fix), and he said my husband could call him later with any questions. The other available plumber wanted to charge an extra $100 ""crawl space fee"", even though the crawl space is almost big enough to stand up (we live on a hill). Curtis charged us less than half of that quote. He will be my first call the next time we have any plumbing needs, emergency or otherwise!

Curtis came out in the rain to replace our broken outdoor faucet. He arrived on time, provided fast service and his prices are reasonable. He really knows his stuff; he's friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend him and hire him again for our plumbing needs..

Yore Place! Plumbing is Curtis Leonard, a plumber we were turned on to by our real estate agent when we bought our home. Don't let the funny name deter you, this guy has been a pleasure to have work for us.

He is friendly, hard working, and extremely knowledgeable.

When we had him come in and bid the project, he offered to do time and material seeing as we were adding two bathrooms at once. Now, never do time and material with someone you aren't positive is experienced, because you will likely end up spending more money than getting a straight bid, but the way he communicated about the project convinced us that he knew what he was doing.

As the job has gone along, he has gone out of his way to take care of other plumbing related problems that have come about through years of do-it-yourselfers doing just that. Each thing he has alerted us to would not have passed an inspection (meaning the owners before us never had one), and he has taken the time to explain why it should be done differently. Thank God nothing horrible happened before he got here.

I would recommend Curtis to you with full confidence that the job he does would be beyond your expectation. He is good people.
