We have a waste water pump in our basement that they told me we needed to spend $2750-2950 to replace, which would include grinding out cement in my basement, putting in new pipes, etc. I told them no thanks and had the whole thing fixed (it has been operable for a decade as-is) for $250 from another local small business.

I'd give them one star but they were very polite and were the only ones who were able to squeeze me in the same day.

I had a clogged toilet yesterday, and called YLP plumbing this morning about 8:15.
Richard answered my call, and he and a crew member were able to arrive about 10:15. They unclogged the mess in about 15 minutes and left my toilet really clean. I highly recommend this company. Prompt, good work, polite, professional and all at a fair price. They are a pleasure to work with.

3"" of rain and surprise! our sump pump is out, driveway is flooding and threatening our laundry room and garage. I put out a call for emergency plumbing services on Yelp. Richard made contact immediately. I told him about the problem, he quoted a not to exceed number, was at the house 90min later. So appreciative of them! We had a fast leaking hose connection that we couldn't shut off ourselves (it was rapidly filling buckets with water). Thankfully we connected with YLP and they were at our home within a half hour. They thoughtfully assessed the situation, gave us options and smart advice, and were able to fix the issue fast AND with a 6 year warranty. Affordable as well.
