first off they purchased the company that did my install that had special arrangements with me do to several issues that happened at install, then i scheduled a service that was supposed to be free and was then charged anyway because they didnt inform the tech that it was free, now scheduled an ac tune up just to make sure it doesnt break down for summer and have been rescheduled twice at this rate summer is going to be over before i get any service seriously the worst company i have ever seen. if i would have known the original company would have been bought by this company i would have taken the refund of half cost over the service deal, or even purchased through a different company all together, just based on my experience i would rather hire costco to install or home depot and have nothing to do with this company.
Recently our furnace began to have some issues. It was a Sunday, I was grateful to have YES Furnace and Air arriv so quickly with no ""after hour/weekend fees"". After a quick diagnosis we were informed it was our Flame ignitor. A $25.00 part was now a $300.00 service call. To add to the shock we were told that because our hvac system was outdated they would not warranty the part or service. However, if we bought a new system from them they would wave $69.00 price for the part. They were happy to send out a sales person to give us a deal. Half way through the visit we decided we weren't interested. Be careful of pressure sale tactics ststing you need a new system.
On Nov. 25, 2024, I had them come and tune up our furnaces. furnaces are only 7 years old. I was informed that I needed to buy a brand-new furnace because of X and Y and Z, etc. Estimated cost: $5800. I had another company look the very next day and there is NOTHING wrong with it! That should tell you enough.
Our furnace went out and we called YES for a diagnostic. They came out and within less than 30 minutes told us that our unit was out of code, completely clogged, cracked and leaking carbon monoxide and needed to be replaced. We were aware that the induction motor had gone bad which is typically around $100 to replace. They showed us pictures of our supposed cracked heat exchange and severely clogged coils for the AC. They then told us that we needed to replace the AC unit as well because it had to be compatible and if we didn't it would cost an additional $2,000 to replace later. The Tech Gabriel kept saying ""we are just giving it to you straight and that is why we have such good reviews. ""They then said they needed to get a sales guy out to see what we could do for financing. So later that day the sales guy came out and didn't spend more than 15 minutes before he stated he knew what we needed. He started running numbers and said that it would $6,000 for the furnace and $8,000 for the AC. But he could get it all for us for $12,000.
Well, we thought we were screwed and had to do it. So they ran the numbers and while we had the income to finance it, our credit was not enough for that amount. So then he changed his tune and said it WOULD actually be ok to just replace the furnace and he would run the credit for that amount. Well, due to one late house payment we didnt qualify. As soon as that was discovered the guy could not get out of our house fast enough. We paid the diagnostic fee and he left without so much as a receipt for payment tor a copy of the diagnostic findings.
Talking to friends we found someone willing to come take a look and see how he could help. He asked for a list of the things they said was wrong. I messaged the company and asked for the itemized list and a receipt. They never got back to me.
Long story short, they friend helped us purchase a brand new furnace for $2,800 installed with a warranty. As I explained what the previous tech told us and showed us pictures of, he was surprised as the pictures of the coil that was completely clogged could not have been our unit because there was still tape sealing our coil that had not been broken. So then I asked them to check out the heat exchange which they showed was cracked and rusted in multiple places. The heat exchange from our unit didnt even look the same as the pictures they showed. It was not our unit he showed us. There were no cracks on our exchange. SUPER SHADY BUSINESS!!. They use scare tactics and fraudulent pictures to trick people into buying more than they need. I am very disappointed and disgusted.
Gretchen S.I've scheduled an A/C tune up 4 times and They have Ghosted me every time, so frustrating planning your day around their 5 hour appointment window and they never show, never call, never reschedule: I'll take my business elsewhere
Jackson and Logan were called out for a Follow-up on our AC unit, after we endued a long weekend of heat above 90 degrees. The fan on our unit would not respond, so the two of them checked it outside, then looked at all the indoor wiring and found it was correct. Finally, they resolved the issue by getting technical support involved. We appreciate their professionalism. Please give these hard workers a raise.

This company is a SCAM!!!!!! They tuned my furnace in November and talked me into a program I pay in to monthly and will provide me with 4 annual visits. They never send follow up texts or emails. They called and cancelled an appt for my AC and then just flat out did not show up for the day they rescheduled. They continue to collect my money and nobody I speak with on the phone seems to have a clue. I just want my money back and i will not deal with this scammy company again. Garbage people!
Bridget G.Very impressed with Matt who helped us select the best HVAC and humidifier for our business. The installation was immediate and they worked with our schedule to not interrupt our normal business hours. They also installed new thermostats and gave everyone a tutorial on how to properly run the system. We ended up using them again to do duct cleaning.
10/10 Highly recommend this company, they are friendly prompt and have a wonderful team.
Justin N.Easy to work with and flexible scheduling! Needed to have my HVAC ducts cleaned and went with OyBoy. They arrived promptly at 12pm and were super friendly and fast! Definitely recommend this business!
Put in brand new system. Has never worked properly. Installers installed incorrectly. Came later and ""fixed it"" then another person came and ""fixed something "" else. We Miss the old system. Keeps freezing over and not working. Never cools the upstairs which was the only ask. ""as long as it cools the upstairs"" over and over again. Told repeatedly that it would. It is 87 degrees in the house right now. We have had to cancel several outings due to dealing with our kids and the excessive heat. Has been ""fixed"" several times. We got the system to make things better not worse. Sorry I am upstairs where is it over 90 degrees at 8:45 at night.
