Yenason Mechanical
Company Overview
We offer installation of Carrier heating and air conditioning equipment. Our expertise includes Mitsubishi air conditioning systems as well as heat pump systems solutions. We maintain every brand of heating and air conditioning units. Moreover, we provide domestic plus business plumbing.
Started in the year 1973, Yenason Mechanical initially focused on refrigeration work. Over the years, we expanded into different kinds of heating and air conditioning along with plumbing.
John, my brother launched the company in 1973, and we worked together over the years until I took over the business from him in 2000. I acquired extensive knowledge in this industry from the foundation. I performed work in attic areas and basements, gaining most of my knowledge from years of work with knowledgeable HVAC professionals. I obtained heating and air conditioning credentials from a nearby vocational technical school for adult learners in the 1970s era. Throughout the years, I have participated in a variety of Carrier University classes in Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as certification and courses in various heating and air conditioning, air conditioning, gas piping systems, plumbing work, and sales education conducted by our suppliers and at local as well as national trade shows.

Mark S.Use Yenason only if you want your money taken and your phone calls not returned.
As the technician was leaving on the day of installation he said, ""Fujitsu is a great unit when it works."" Remember that line.
Less than a year in our unit was not working properly, Yenason's technicians were unable to fix the unit after several visits. Time between visits was often more than two weeks, and what started in June continued unresolved to the present - end of January. While some of the responsibility rests with Fujitsu as well, the simple fact is the office staff at Yenason was incapable of follow-through with either myself or Fujitsu. I had to make all the contacts and arrangements for getting a replacement unit. This was even after dropping off two printouts of instructions to Yenason's office. Phone calls were not returned, emails not returned, even text messages were not returned. What makes it even more ironic is that for a technical and mechanical company I was told, 'We don't know how to get that message off of the cell phone.""
Apparently, an employee left them and the message one gets when they dial the number is ""I am no longer with the company, etc."" and it dates back to August/September. Feel free to dial it yourself and listen: (570) 760-1695. I continually informed their people - technicians and office staff that communications is the basis of trust, and trust is the basis of relationships. To this I was told, ""Well, we do have some communication issues."" That is is an understatement.
When I began looking around for professional help in resolving the issue there was not a single installer that was surprised at my experience with Yenason. The most common reaction was a moment of silence as they collected their thoughts, and said something to the effect of, ""Things apparently haven't changed.""
Again, work with them at your own risk. Be prepared to be abandoned by them only to have to get the job completed elsewhere at additional costs. By far the singular most irresponsible and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
Stay away from this guy He makes you feel like one of the family but after you pay him for the installation of equipment (in my case a Carrier Heatpump) when it failed to operate properly I could not get him to answer my E-Mails numerous phone calls to his office even while the winter temps dropped the heat pump was only operating in Emergency mode. He signed a 11 year service contract yet still ignores my calls for help. WHILE MY ELECTRIC bils soar. Since my contract was with Yenason Mechanical Carrier would only warranty equipment, I would be responaible for equipment I would have to pay for service. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM YENSON MECHANCAL Sounds like John D has the same problem Going to seek legal action.
Met with ""Joe Yenason"" for a simple job. he gave me a price and said next week he can do it. Next week came and gone, no ''JOE YENASON''. i called very day for next 2 weeks and left messages on his voice mail and with various people in the office. Still no ""Joe Yenason''. for some reason unknown he (JOE YENASON) refused to call. ''Joe Yenason'' didn't have the courtesy to call me and explain his position. THE MAN HAS NO BACKBONE
This used to get a very good very customer service oriented company. That is no longer the case. Poor service. Poor follow up. Unprofessional customer service people who will argue with a customer. Maybe they have too many big customers? Maybe Joe Yenason has enough money? They have lost a number of good employees over the years. After being a faithful customer for 15 years, 2017 will be my last. When my contract is up I will be going with Carpinet in Wyoming. They are a great family business who still care about service.
Had work on house on thermostats and already had him replace furnace he was there for 3 days and charged 1,428 dollars he had two of his men there very dissatisfied
Bought a house with a gas fireplace that was not working but supposedly fixed and worked at time of closing. When I went to turn it on it does not work or must fiddle with it for 5 or ten minutes to make work.Yenason did the repair work but when I called I got a lot of excuses when I asked if he guaranteed his work. This was a Friday. He said he would call me back on Monday. This was three weeks ago and ii am still waiting for his callback. Not treated fairly.
Daniel T.My building original (est 40year old townhouse) heating / blower unit died & I called Joe (Yenason) based on a recommendation from a neighbor who had a good experience with Yenason Mechanical.
I got voice mail, but a very quick reply; honestly was surprised, as it's often days before one hears back.
Joe himself came out, took a look and gave us a quote on several items. Wasn't pushy & I liked that kind of vibe. The other guys I called ~ I had to chase down to even get them to come out and quote, so Yenason was already ahead of the game. Joe's quote was very competitive. My wife & I went with them based on the good vibe we got, prompt service & quote and the good review from my neighbors. He even spent some extra time with us, going over the various options and suggestions based on our particular situation.
The work was scheduled for 4 days after I called with the ""go-ahead"", and done to my satisfaction in less than 1/2 day, and I'm a picky customer....
Joe came with the work crew in the morning to ensure things started smoothly and came back after the job was complete to check work was done to our expectations.
There was a couple of minor items that came up during the install, but these were fixed the next day without any issue.
I really liked the low pressure ""sales"" pitch combined with a quick quote & work well done.
Highly recommended.
Thanks Yenason!
I have worked with several HVAC companies in the past with little success. Yenason has been the exact opposite of the other experiences. Yenason has been exceptional in every step of the process. I called when the dispatcher was on lunch break and was promised a call back. I expected no call as typical of contractors, I was surprised by a prompt return call and excellent customer service from Dawn. She is a great person to work with and extremely helpful. The Tech, Tom, was very friendly and did what ever he could to get the job done. The project was much more than anticipated but Yenason stayed on top of it and got the job done. I would recommend them to any family or friends and actually have already.
