Charged my elderly mother in 2014 $650 to replace a bathroom faucet. Never again! I'll be scheduling future plumbers, and not this one.

We had a ""smell issue"" from a mysterious source and called them for help. They arrived when stated, within a couple hours, and investigated our issue. They were professional, on time, very thorough, friendly, and informative. We will be using this company and recommending them for any plumbing issue we have! Awesome service.

Called A+ services (Yelm plumbing and pumps is the name we googled, A+plumbing showed up). They charged a $43.25 fee to just come to the house to check the issue. When they got here they quoted us over $600.00 to dig a hole (digging fee), then said that the job would be as much as $800.00 - $1200.00 (including the digging fee). Prices seem very high for a job that took less than an hour.

We had an alarming mystery leak recently, and couldn't figure out where the problem was. Yelm Plumbing responded right away, and Dan showed up to help sort things out. He was friendly and very professional. He figured out right away what caused the leak, and he quickly fixed the problem. Based on our experience with them, I highly recommend Yelm Plumbing. I'm sure all of their plumbers are good, but if you're lucky you'll get Dan. He really knew what he was doing, and was a pleasure to do business with.

Horrible. They never showed up for the appointment, twice! I wasted two half days for nothing waiting for them to show up. Skip.

we called because we were have a well pump problem with our 20 year old pump. The issue did not warrant a replacement but as the pump probably had only a year or two of life left, we elected to replace the pump. I felt they were honest and professional. it took about 6 hours to replace the pump and associated parts of the system. I would call them again.

I called and got an answer right away. They scheduled for someone to come out that day to help diagnose the problem for $40. They were friendly and seemed to know what they were taliking about. I had the septic tank all dug up and ready for them to inspect. They quickly came to the conclusion that the inlet into the tank was clogged and began to unclog it by jamming a plastic pipe into it and spraying water into it.. Within a minute a gush of water came out and they concluded that it was unclogged. They determined the clog happened due to the tank rising over time and a broken inlet pipe catching the paper from flowing properly. They gave me a quote for $1300 to have it repaired fully. This happened way to fast for me and made me suspicious because there wasn't enough evidence of a cracked pipe. They also tried to negotiate their work and get more from me. I told them I would need to get back to them for the additional work. After they left I dug up the pipe to see if it was cracked. What I found was that the pipe was still clogged and the pipe was cracked right were he was jamming the plastic pipe in to unclog it. I decided to call another plumber who came out and did the repairs for only $275. After more research into Yelm plumbing and pipe, I found out they are a subsidiary of another company out of lacey with poor reviews and over charging. Get more than one quote if your looking to deal with them.

We had a toilet clog up and water was backing up into the bathtub. I tried for 1/2 an hour to clear the clog with no luck. Yelm Plumbing was the only company in the area that answered on a Sunday evening. The lady on the phone was friendly and told me that they had two teams currently out but they would be able to come by that evening. She told me that there was a $40 service fee and the plumbers would provide me with a written estimate before starting work. Sounded great to me...especially on a Sunday evening.

The plumbers arrived, were friendly and professional, and after a short look around the septic tank quickly diagnosed the problem. That's when they told me it was going to cost $420 to clear the main line. I balked initially at the cost, but they said their camera was going to show what the cause of the problem was which would help us figure out if there was a bigger problem. At that point I agreed to the job and they proceeded to begin.

As they started work the plumber told me that the camera was broken but they were going to clear the line anyway. It took them all of about 30 seconds to clear the clog, but I had no further information on what the cause might have been because the camera was broken. They insisted on charging full price and wouldn't even budge when I suggested using their company to come back and pump the tank.

So...I paid $420 + $40 service call and of course tax. Almost $500 to snake the main line which took merely a few minutes. No camera to show me what the real problem might have been as they promised, and what I agreed to in the $420 estimate.

In conclusion, the plumbers arrived quickly on a Sunday evening, they were friendly and professional, and they fixed my immediate problem. However, their prices are exorbitant and they fell through on what they agreed to do in the estimate and refused to adjust the bill accordingly - even when I was willing to give them more business!

Unless you are in dire straits, look elsewhere for a plumber.
