Nick Evans is more than a handyman....he is an experienced contractor,an electrician, a plumber, a problem solver and, true to the title of his company, brings years of experience to each job. He has repaired my electric switches, resolving past safety issues, fixed a hinge on a door, repaired a noisy toilet and patched missing grout. He usually has the parts he may need in his van and his advice on what may be needed for future jobs is based on experience and research. He spent today taking down a deteriorating overhead structure outside, including lighting. He explained the plan before the project and collaborated with me as he worked. Reliable,respectful, efficient and talented Nick takes pride in his work and it shows!

Originally I contacted Nick to fix/adjust a stuck frameless shower door. My son found Nick on YELP and he had good reviews. Nick fixed the shower door quickly but noticed the larger issue was that the tile flooring had areas of missing grout so he came back another day to re-grout and clean things up in our master bedroom shower stall. He was very professional and did a detailed job as the job took about a half a day. He cleaned up nicely and now
we can take a nice shower for years to come without worrying that the tile flooring leaks water underneath. I will definitely keep Nick in mind if I have a list of future work!

Our Andersen bathroom window, awning type, needed a new crank operator. Besides the parts which we were able to order, there was a tricky operation involving a 36 in. piece of trim wood. Nick was familiar with the problem we were facing and was able to remove and replace this fragile piece of wood as part of exchanging the old operator parts with the new ones. His work was clean and efficient. I highly recommend Nick both for jobs he has done before (there are many types) and ones that he has to learn how to do freshly. If you have a household problem, call Ye Olde Handyman!

Nick is really amazing! Our dish washer starts to pop water out of the air gap for a long time. We tried ourselves to diagnose the issue and replace the lines without success. Nick get it fixed super quickly. He is a real expert and answered many of our questions and why our attempts didn't work. I will definitely recommend him and call him again next time.

Nick is not just a handyman, he is a licensed electrician and plumber. Having all this knowledge and years of experience in a single contractor makes him a time saver and unique professional in this business. Everything that's sometimes wrong with contractors he got it right: 1) He communicates by txt and is very responsive. 2) Once you're on his schedule you can count that he will be at your home by the time he promised or you will get a txt in advance if his prior job is taking a bit longer. 3) Although he charges by the hour he is super good at estimating how long it would take and therefore you won't run into surprises at the time of paying him. 4) He drives a big van full of supplies, so he is not one of those that either use time during the job to buy what he needs or requires you to provide it unless you want to. 5) He is very thorough and pays a lot of attention to details. He will clean everything after he finishes and he will ensure you're happy with the job before he leaves. If not, he will rework it until you're happy.

At my house he fixed leaking toilets, fixed patio doors that were misaligned and stuck, patched and re-attached a towel rack, fixed a back yard gate, sealed a bath tub and a shower and finally re-grouted a bathroom floor.
