We noticed in the late afternoon that we had a clogged kitchen drain affecting the sink and dishwasher. Jay arrived in 10 minutes, explained what was needed, and cleared the problem right away. We were very pleased with the quick response and good work, we would definitely call them again and highly recommend them!

April 2018
I have to admit, I was disappointed with this company.
I own a rental home. My tenant stated that the plumbing was "backing up". I called YB and they sent a plumber out. (very nice, responsive)

Once the plumber was at the home.. they stated that they needed $299 to "snake" the line. They would not start any work until I gave them a credit card... I had no issues with that. Plumber snaked the line, but couldn't fix it, so he stated that he had to use a camera to see what was blocking the pipe...and that would cost another $250. I told them ok.

Plumber tried to use the camera...but called back and stated that he couldn't see anything... because there was fluid in the line. (still charged me $250) Then he preceded to tell me that it had to be tree roots blocking the pipe.. and that it would cost me $4000 to dig up and fix. That's when I said stop and I called a second plumber for a second opinion.
I had a second plumber come out (next morning) and look at the issue and he was able to fix the problem ... in 15 mins. Needless to say, it was NOT tree roots as YB Plumbing stated... it was a simple clogged sewer pipe. (plumbers words)
But here is the part that I started feeling like I was being taken advantage of by YB Plumbing.
When I was talking to the second plumber (the one that fixed it for $279), I asked him how he fixed it. He stated he simply snaked the line. I then asked if he used a camera and he stated NO.. he stated that hecould see that their was fluid in the line and that a camera would be of no use... and that he was not sure why the first plumber (YB Plumbing) would even recommend using a camera... knowing full well that it wouldn't show any pictures.
I then shared with the second plumber that YB wanted to charge me $4000 to dig up and replace the pipe. His feedback was, there is absolutely no reason to dig up the pipe... because when he snaked the line, he found NO tree roots. (he stated that if there were roots in the line, that he would have tree root debris tangled in his snake line.. and there was none.)
Needless to say, I was feeling like YB Plumbing was just trying to scam me, so I email them a nice (not mean) email... very similar to the email above, asking them to return just the camera fee of $250. I gave them a week to reply, but received nothing back from them; no email, no phone call, no credit.
So I guess my recommendation is Buyer beware when dealing with this company.

Quoted to replace copper pipe in attic where it had previously leaked in 3 spots. $295 per section of pipe. Plumbers that performed the work returned and replaced 2 sections of pipe. One about 4' and the other approximately 1.5'. When my husband called the company about it, he was told that those 2 sections repaired the 3 previous leaks and that's why we were charged for 3 replacements. $885 for 6' of pipe and 15 minutes of work. The quote to replace all of the copper piping in the house was $4450. That $885 is 1/5th the cost of the entire house. Since those pipes have had issues, it's only a matter of time before new pinholes spring up in the old sections of pipe. For that price, the entire length of the pipes with known issues should have been replaced. Steer clear of this company and call someone out who will fix a pinhole section for the much more reasonable price of a couple hundred dollars. I feel robbed.
Tried calling the company again and was told that the $885 price was final even though I paid for 3 physical sections of pipe. Filing a complaint with the BBB and will try to dispute $295 of this charge with my bank.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

I will never use this company again! We are a retail shop and have never had to provide payment before the work has ever started, but the technician that came to fix our clogged sink refused to even look at the problem until we paid him. When we tried to explain that we are a company and have to bill it to accounting and services usually send us invoices he became very rude and belittling. Maybe its the fact that he was foreign and the cultural differences got in the way but they were aggressive and completely over charged for 5 minutes of work!! Then when he said he was done and leaving I asked him to show me what he had done and he said it was done that he had to leave (again very rudely) but I demanded he show me. Only to find out when he opened the bottom of the sink that he did not tighten the pipes and they were leaking water everywhere since he had left the tap running!! Good thing I forced him to show me what he had done overwise they would have left without finishing the job!! Really just terrible service and so unprofessional!! I have never had to pay before they even do a job! Since we are a business and don't keep a lot of cash on hand, we had to run to the bank, after he kept insisting on a credit card, then as the manager went to the bank, which literally took less than 10 minutes since the bank is around the corner, the technician kept pacing through the entire shop demanding I call my coworker to get an eta and saying it was ridiculous he had to wait to get the remaining money! When we called the company number to explain everything that happened, the woman on the phone was even more rude and did not want to hear anything we had to say! I'm just shocked this comapany is functioning!

This may be petty, but the two technicians that came stunk of body odor! Very badly!!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

Company said they would be out early Saturday afternoon and didn't show up until dark. They could not do the work as promised until Sunday and they charged $795 for a thirty minute one man job. Tried to get an adjustment because of the time delay not as represented and the boss man Jay was rude and difficult to deal with. Needless to say he is not customer oriented and I just hope the repair holds. If not I will deal with Jay in another arena and he will not have the upper hand. Sometimes the customer just needs to feel he or she was not ripped of for the job done. We will see!

My water heater went out on Christmas eve, they were kind enough to come and replace my water heater, BUT they charged me $1,818 for a 50 gallon 6yr warranty gas heater!!!!!!!!!! The water heater at Home Depot lists at $400. I think $1400 for the 45 minutes at my house is gouging.

This is some 'dispatch' company that refused to take a job another plumber did in 30 minutes for $50. Said it was $700 to replace the whole sink instead of one cold water cartridge. Terribly rude woman on the phone too.

This company is a rip off. Stay away. Do not use them. They will over charge for their services. I had to use them cause no other plumbing company had openings and I needed the work done today. Beware of this company as I did not check other reviews.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- ALL THE REVIEWS ARE LIES WRITTEN BY THE TECHNICIANS. I had a leak in a pipe behind the refrigerator at my rental property that needed to be fixed asap, so my contractor hired YB Plumbing based on the great reviews. The two technicians were very cocky and rude towards my tenant and at the end of their services asked her to give them her phone so they could "show her how to write a review". The technician proceeded to write the review for her, giving himself 5 stars and raving about how he replaced our water heater, cleaned a slow draining sink and installed a new garbage disposal. NONE of these services were rendered! The technicians also created a whole new problem in the plumbing line they "fixed" so that the first floor faucet will no longer turn off. When my tenant asked them to take a look at it (as the problem was obviously a result of their work") they brushed her off and said its not their problem. When I called to complain to the manager, she answered the phone very unprofessionally and was immediately on the defense, saying that I had an attitude, when I asked to speak to a manager. I asked her to confirm the services rendered, she did not know what rendered meant and again told me I was rude and had an attitude when I explained what the word meant. When I then told her that her technicians wrote their own review from my tenant's phone lying about their services, her response was, "So what? Just delete the review. What else do you need?". Attached are the photos of the review they posted and the actual invoice of what they did.

I used this company a few years ago to do a re route of plumbing at my residence. The bid they offered was 50% lower than a previous company bid. This companies work ethics are highly suspect. Since I'm not aware of the proper protocol for this work, I later found out that a city permit never was submitted. This company also damaged my property while performing the work.
