We hired Yates via Home Advisor to re-sod our yard, work on the irrigation, and do assorted landscaping work, to say that the work didn't meet our expectations is a bit of an understatement. I received an invoice for 10 pallets of sod and paid it within an hour of receiving it, turned out that was about 3 too many, rather than returning it or using it on another job they piled it in the street and left it there for about a week, I was not refunded the difference. The company hired two high school kids to do the work and left them on their own with little or no instruction or supervision, what should have been a couple of day job drug on (sod sitting on pallets) for over a week. The quality of the installation was very poor and the sod was in rough shape, I currently have several areas that are dead. The landscaping was even less professional than the grass, and I had to hire someone else to come and fix the irrigation the owner told me he had done. I have reached out several times to the owner to get this corrected and was told time and again that he would do """"whatever it takes"""" to make it right, never followed through, and now no longer answers calls. I have filed a formal complaint with Home Advisor, however, as of this writing, he has not responded to them either. I would certainly not recommend this company.
