I read a few of the reviews, and I was worried when Yamaz was assigned as my plumber through AHS. I called on Saturday, and was told I would be contacted on the next business day. Monday, 9am, my phone rings and Yama says he is on his way after he asked what was wrong. Being a broke-chanic, I guessed wax ring on my toilet causing a leak. Yame came within the hour with a wax ring ready to remove and replace. He immediately recognized that the leak was coming from the gasket between the water tank and the bowl. He told me that he did not have the gasket for that toilet, and that he would go and get it and call me when he was in his way back from Waipahu. He called an hour later and said that Waipahu did not have it and he would have to drive to town to get the gasket. He asked if I could wait until first thing tomorrow. I agreed. Tuesday 0900, Yama calls, says he is on the way, there by 0930. Remove and replaced the seal with a stainless steel gasket instead of rubber because it is a better gasket and will last the life of the toilet. He was out after completing the job in less than an hour. Great work, great service, and a genuine nice guy. Enjoy the pickled onion bruddah Yama!

Made a AHS service request due to no hot water, read some of the reviews on here I was a little discouraged and canceled it, also canceled because I like to try do do things myself if I can. Literally 3 minutes after canceling, Tad from YAMAZ called me for the service request, I'm stoked he called! As we were chatting he saw that I canceled and asked me what was going on with my water heater. Braddah knew right away over the phone and diagnosed it right away he even walked me thru the simple steps to get my water heater back up and running. It's the Holiday season 2023, I wish this braddah nothing but the best holiday! Mahalo Tad! Appreciate the local customer service! Much Alohaz!

The communication with this company is terrible. This is the contractor that American Home Shield contracts with and they called once when I was in a meeting. I left 3 voicemails within a week and no call back. I called AHS and they're like ""he said he called you yesterday and you didn't answer"" That was a big FAT LIE. Ended up showing up fix what needed to be fixed, but then after one issue being fixed there was another that they caused. They came by with zero supplies looked at it said they didn't know what to do and left and said they would be in touch. That was almost A MONTH ago. I ended up fixing it MYSELF. You're telling me that a licensed contractor couldn't figure out how to fix something that I fixed myself. UNREAL.

This was my second time using Yamaz Plumbing through American Home Shield. The first time was to deal with a toilet that was continuously running. This time to deal with a broken garbage disposer under the kitchen sink. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Yamaz Plumbing. This time he diagnosed my 27 year old Kenmore disposer as terminal and replaced it with a new InSinkerator unit. The new unit is smaller and quieter. I'm a satisfied customer.

AHS victim. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He came out once, didn't fix the leak, and then ghosted me. Only answered the phone when I called from a different number. This is a scam.

Used AHS for plumbing services. Took a week to get in touch with him. He came and didn't even fix the faucet correctly, didn't double check his work (we had taken his word that he fixed it). Then it took over a week to get in touch with him again. Left several voicemails. Then he finally came back today and the faucet IS STILL NOT FIXED. Tried calling and no answer (again). Very annoyed. Would not recommend to anyone.

I was assigned this contractor through my insurance company American Home Shield. Spoke to someone on Nov 26. for my kitchen faucet leak. He said he would be able to come over on Nov 29 or 30. He hasn't answered any of my calls since. I even texted on Dec 3. No reply. Called AHS Dec. 13 to follow up with contractor. They contacted him, informed me he is on the road and will give me a call as soon as he's in office. He did not call. On Dec 22, I called insurance again to complain and finally they appointed me another contractor - D Baretto's Repair LLC. I recommend him. He came a few days after Christmas. My faucet is now fixed.

American Home Shield sent a service request to Yamaz Plumbing, for our sewer ejector pump. I was contacted by Tad, and given a time that he would come by to assess the problem. Upon arrival, Tad informed me that I would need to have the septic tank pumped, before he could work on it. I was given a referral to Gecko pumping; and told to arrange it so he could come back, after they were done. Gecko pumping came, and Tad had said he was coming that afternoon... and that was the last I heard from him. He never came, hasn't responded to texts or calls. In total, from my filing the initial claim to AHS, to my realizing Yamaz Plumbing was never coming back, it took 2 weeks. I have since had the pump replaced by another company, and they informed me the pumping (required by Tad) was unnecessary; an additional $400 out of my own pocket. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS
