Xpress One Plumber offers a range of services, such as
drain cleaning.
My plumbing career started in 1989 when I apprenticed with my neighbor on weekends for some extra income, not realizing I would come to love this trade.
Following my apprenticeship, I worked for a commercial plumbing company, cleaning grease traps at restaurants and airports, as well as providing drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and repair services.
I completed plumbing school at Pasadena City College, receiving my certificate after one year of study.
I obtained my backflow certification through PHCC.
I got my contractor state license in 2007, and soon after, I launched my own business in 1997.
These are my early days. Thank you for reading my story.
I aim to be the only plumber you will ever need.
From a troublesome leaky faucet to a major leak from a broken water or sewer line, my 37 years in plumbing can address all your plumbing concerns.
I will quickly and accurately diagnose the root cause of the issue and provide a high-quality, long-lasting repair.
We address all plumbing requirements for residential and commercial properties with exceptional professionalism and customer care.

Recommended Customer Reviews

I wish I were not doing this, but John has left me no choice other than to leave him a poor review. he has stopped responding to us. I have left countless voicemails and given him many opportunities to prevent this review. It is my sincere hope that he will finally respond to me and address the litany of issues with his work..
I hired John to do some basic plumbing for a bathroom remodel. From the start it was a disaster. Nearly every step has involved his team screwing up basic requests. Once we discover the shoddy workmanship and ask for him to fix it, he has reluctantly sent his team back. On more than one occasion he failed to show up for a scheduled appointment. He provided no reasonable explanations or apologies.
Here are some highlights:
-""accidentally"" drilling a hole through the bathroom into an adjacent bedroom
-demolition of ceiling drywall that was completely unnecessary, as no work was required there
-installation of the shower head at the wrong height, then not even securing it properly with silicone, as it moves around with ease
-drilling holes into 2x4s to thread pipes according to code, only the holes were so poorly drilled and offset that the pipes stuck out
-installation of a toilet drain/flange that wasn't even remotely centered in the bathroom corner
-using completely mismatched drain hardware and caulking materials
At multiple points he tried to convince us that we had ordered broken parts because he couldn't figure out how to install them. We then read the manual and showed him how they were not broken. I was in complete disbelief that I was doing his job for him.
On a completely separate note, some of his most incompetent employees treated my wife without any semblance of professionalism or respect. They barged into her work meetings, greeting her with ""ayyyy mami"" after she explicitly told them that she was not to be bothered.
For a man who claims to take great pride in his craft and offers a ""15 year warranty,"" he is remarkably adept at dodging problems concerning his work.
In summary, until John reaches out to me and fixes EVERY issue, I will emphatically tell any potential customer to AVOID WORKING WITH JOHN!

John came to fix a plumbing issue in our kitchen which turned out to be a lot bigger job than expected to get through some bad plumbing of a previous contractor. His work was amazing and he solved the problem at an incredibly reasonable rate. Super appreciate him!

John and his team did a fantastic job replacing the old sewer pipes at my house, which were old clay from the 50s and had a bunch of issues (root intrusions, broken in a bunch of places, and so on).
The whole process felt efficient and clean, the team was friendly and transparent throughout. His price came in significantly below the competition.
Would highly recommend them, and will certainly use them again in the future.

They were professional and cared about giving us the best solutions. They were thorough and communicative. That was very much appreciated.

We hired JMP about five times now. He is very knowledgeable and honest and takes time to explain and even show you. The firsr time we hired him was when our bathrooms kept getting clogged over and over. Originally we had our home insurance hire somone from their accounts but a week later they were clogged again.
We then went to John and he scoped the entire system, fis and major flush and the scope showed a damaged elbow. He cane back the next day and replaced the elbow. We then hired him tp replace one of our toilets and again he was here on time and did the job.
We then had issues with the plumbing in the kitchen and Landry room sink. He came and made the repairs. He noticed that out water heater was not to code and was a fire hazard. He showed us eveeything and explained it and he had him fix that issue.
The last time we hired him was because our refrigerator had broken and we replaced it with a new one from Lowe's but the techs refused to install it because the electrical and water line were done improperly. So we called him and he came installed a wall fixture with a emergency off and on valve, ran the proper line from the fridge to the sink and also addressed the power outlet. We thanked him and called Lowe's to send their techs back out for warranty purposes and our fridge was installed no more ice chests.. so i highly reccomend

I have hired Johnny at JMP plumbing for all the plumbing need at my house inside and out for over 6 years. He has been reliable and finished the work to our satisfaction. He is the only plumber I trust and will continue to use for the future.

This company has does many projects for my property and I am always satisfied with the level of work!

JMP was efficient and effective in solving my plumbing problems! Excellent service and customer service!

I Manage fast food restaurant had plumbing leak from the ceiling. called a previous plumber and they had a three hour downtime and I had to shut down my water to fix it. John came in and had a 20 minute downtime and he used a special method (pro press) no fire.
Time is money! the fix was quick and price was reasonable. Just what we needed.
We will be using this company from now on.

Finally a plumbing company that are pleasant and do what they say when they say. the got the job done and my tenants hardly knew they were there. I'm very happy.
