I had the unfortunate experience of my basement flooding again! Third time in 20 years. I finally made the plunge and had flood control installed. After checking out all the available options I chose Xpert and glad I did. Working with Sean and Patrick was so easy. All of the workers were respectful and hard working. The installation went without any issues. The unit looks very sturdy and well installed. I can now sleep at night when it rains. Thank you.

I was in the market for a new flood control system for my house after the previous owner installed a terrible sump pump that was a disaster waiting to happen. After meeting with multiple companies, Xpert was clear winner. They were professional and very detailed, walking me through their recommendations and estimate.

I put off installing the system for a month or two, which ended when I got water in the basement, of course. Xpert came out the next day to clear out the backed up sewer drain and then scheduled my work asap. Once they started, the crew was professional and courteous, since I was working from home the entire time. They were on time and cleaned up every day. During the instillation, they found drainage pipes that were improperly installed and causing problems and fixed those right away.

In total, they installed a flood control system in the front yard and a new sump pump in the basement. All of the parts and equipment they installed are top notch and the work is impeccable. Multiple huge storms later (including one with 4"" of rain!) and the basement is bone dry. I can't recommend these guys enough!

We are brand new homeowners who unfortunately bought a home and then 3 weeks in, had 6 inches of sewer water in our basement. We were at a loss and really didn't know how and why this had happened.

I frantically did research and after reading many reviews, I chose to call Xpert. They are a local company which I always strive to support (especially during Covid-19). Sean came out the day after the flood even though he told us they were swamped. He quickly diagnosed the problem and said since it was sewer water, they would put in an emergency permit and begin the work in a few days. The 3 man crew showed up at the same time each day. Miguel (who is truly wonderful & has been an employee for many years) gave me a run-down of what had been done each day and what they would do the following day. Xpert quoted us the exact amount we paid and got the work done in the amount of time they stated. After the work was complete, Pat, the owner sent us photos and a write-up of the problem and work that was done for us to be able to go back to our insurance company after initially being told if it was sump pump issue, that our insurance wouldn't cover it. These guys are expensive, but they do good work. And in all honesty, with how often Chicagoland floods, you should definitely consider giving them a call if you have any water or flooding issues.

No one wants to spend money on flood control, but we had no options after the basement backed up twice in the first few months of owning the house. Sean explained everything, and Miguel and his crew were really hardworking, nice, and neat.

They did the labor, explained everything, and communicated the entire process, from what they were doing that day, when it would be done, to what to expect.

This is a nice, family-owned company that is local. We highly recommend them!

Xpert Flood Control is the BEST!

We had an issue with tree roots growing into our main waste line- the problem was so extensive that was preventing our showers and toilets from draining. We called Xpert and Patrick, the owner, came out and personally assessed our issue himself. He and his son Sean quickly identified the 'root' of the problem, obtained the appropriate city permits, and began work within 24 hours. This major project took several days to complete, and the entire Xpert team was helpful, professional, reliable, and overall did a fantastic job. They even offered to help remove an old bush from my front yard at no extra cost as the roots were contributing to the problem! Their prices were much lower than any other company in the area, and Patrick is truly an expert at all things plumbing- he kept me updated every step of the way. Best of all, Xpert gave me peace of mind knowing that our plumbing issues are resolved and we are protected against flooding.

Patrick, Sean, and everyone at Xpert plumbing was a pleasure to work with, and they have my highest recommendation. Do yourself a favor and call the Xperts!

Patrick and Miguel were great to work with. They diagnosed our basement water issues and fixed them. Their communication throughout the process was excellent and they have continued to service the system after the sale. We obtained three quotes and Xpert's was by far the most reasonable. Patrick came and personally bid the job and offered solutions. The other larger companies came in and pushed a product without taking the time to fully understand the issue. I have recommended Xpert to several neighbors.

I had flood control put in about 18 years ago and it has not failed me. I live in an area that floods all the time. These guys are the best. They have kept up the service on my flood control without fail for 18 years. I recently had a sewer pipe collapse underneath my front stairs and Xpert came out and fixed it perfectly at a very reasonable price. I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. Every time I've had issues Xpert has always had the solution at a reasonable cost. Most recently I had 4 French drains installed, an industrial drain along my driveway and exterior waterproofing. In light of the heavy rain we have been having, everything works perfectly and I have no water issues. Patrick and Sean are very reliable and pleasure to do business with.
