Pat R.I first heard of WyattWorks Plumbing through their commercials on the Christian radio station I listen to. The commercials are cute and homey. I called because we were having an issue with one of our toilets. The person who answered the phone was cheerful and very responsive to my issue. The appointment day, I was kept informed of when my repair person would arrive. Pete was on time, was very courteous and very professional. He was quick and efficient and kept us informed at each step. WyattWorks will be our plumbers from here on. I highly recommend them and our super repairman Pete!!!
Mike A.Scheduled an appointment for an estimate and work done the same day as the estimate. I was told that I would be texted the day before to know what time. I got a text on Monday, the day before the scheduled visit, and was told they still didn't have a technician. Then, I was told they like to finish up their days between 3:30 and four. Tuesday came and at 12:30 PM I got another text saying they still didn't have a technician yet and could not tell me when I would a tech, or IF a tech would show up. I took a whole day off of the road from visiting customers. Even if a tech showed up to give me an estimate, I would have to take a another whole day off the road for them to come to do the work....IF they would even show. Bush league way of doing business...wallakadoodle this!
Quoted $4300 to install a shower pan when others were much, much, much lower. I had bought the pan and they only needed to realign the drain and supply a mortar base. It was a one day job, so you can do the math and see what they charge for labor.
Cassandra S.Great company. They were able to get someone out the same day I called. The office staff were very sweet and professional. Their fees are pretty reasonable. I have several projects I need done on a 94 year old home. Chad and Larry came out. They were very respectful to me and my home ( & my old little dog). I liked that they were kind and not pushy. Plus they were both very knowledgeable. I was extremely impressed with them both. I love that this company guarantees their prices for 90 days plus gives a military/ veterans discount. It made things easier to lay out a plan to fix things as my budget allows. There wasn't just a 2 option fix that you get with most other companies. They gave me 4 options. We chose a few things to start. I would highly recommend using them! I also liked they use a text message system to let you know when they're on the way and who is coming.
Joel C.Thomas is a class guy and a great Plummer. WW responded back and never made me feel pressure to pay or buy any services. They went above and beyond when I asked them to look at a couple other things in the house.
There was some initial issues with scheduling but they handled it very professionally. The technician, Edward was amazing ! I will be sure to request him for some other work I will need done next month. This is the first time I used this company and I am very impressed !
They were on time and did a great job. The workman ship was very good. I plan on having them quote so work at my place of business.
Gino D.The crew that was out to my location at empire beauty did a very good job.... I believe gentleman's name was Justin gmbe was awesome and very professional...
Patrick R.Responsiveness was good, but the cost estimates I received on site were far over and above what I was quoted by two other local companies (for the exact same work), and ultimately what I ended up paying. I question the estimations, which may have been rushed, but were seemingly inflated.
Marcel D.I've tried hiring them twice (recommender by HomeAdvisor) for a leaking kitchen faucet.
It's not just a straightforward faucet replacement only, I wanted to provide them better context with what they can expect (email request for pictures), as the first plumber I had called out was pitching me quick fix instead of a proper solution to my problems with water pipes (3 weeks later, got refunded by them for very very poor service)
WyattWorks first thanked me for the call and didn't want to help me fix my problem, which was getting an actual solution and not getting ripped off with a ""call fee"". Obviously if the pitch makes sense, I will hire them, it's not about getting ""free estimates"".
I understood, this is not how you prefer business, but promised I would call back if I would be willing to pay the fee upfront.
Roughly 3-4 weeks later I did so, they were willing to listen to the pre-call summary and got me scheduled a couple days out.
""I will call you to update you on the guys with the first call, so you know when to expect them, as you're next at 10am"" - OK thanks.
She asked for my phone carrier for some kind of scheduling text message, which had just about no purpose.
On the day of the appointment, I'm eagerly waiting to see when they will show up, however 2 hours go by and 30 minutes after the appointment window (not sure if it was a window), I call the office with what's going on?
She tells me how they were still at call 1 and would like to reschedule. From the reviews on HomeAdvisor, I'm not the first customer who went through this frustrating experience when trying to get them to do a repair on leaking faucet.
I asked her, why you couldn't call as you promised? Most definitely should be the case if you want to reschedule. I have other, non-plumbing leaks in the house that I would've scheduled differently for this day if I had known (non of these time-sensitive damages are covered by insurance). So I just cancelled all together. Disappointing how the issue I am facing (leaking kitchen faucet) is prioritized ignorantly. Where they just prefer to make the easy money with drain unclogging, but helping the community is not worth it I guess even if they want to order multiple things.
To the owner: I read how you've been overwhelmed since everyone is at home and requests your service. I would certainly understand and how it can be more stressful (just imagine how I'm facing tough times with healthcare when taking care here of my grandparents), but there are certainly some low effort avoidable steps you could take.
Don't show availability on HomeAdvisor, Train Office manager to be less shady / more peaceful, call ahead if you would like to reschedule, even use the scheduling text service to communicate if you're running late or want me to call the office to reschedule and lastly, if someone is here trying to help you do your work smoother (by describing and picturing the issue) you should take that in as a community member trying to help your family-owned business.
I really wanted to differentiate you from all of my other plumber experiences in the past years, I can't say I've found someone who I liked using.
I've considered expressing my experience, I don't really do so if I don't end up spending some money with the business, but with the lack of empathy and the difficult process to actually hire you for a decent medium sized project was unfortunate (you may contact me for further feedback or to fix mistakes)
