This guy was friendly but very overpriced. When a plumber charges you more per hour than an attorney does, that's an issue. Sadly, when you're in a bind, it's easy to cave in. The cost of his materials were around $15-20 but he charged me 40 times that amount. Do what I didn't and get estimates from others before you say yes. I was kicking myself after finding out the typical cost of his job in my area.

My realtor recommended James to me to come out and do a test of a backflow assembly that Hooper City is requiring. James did not understand what I was asking for (I did not understand my self and could not explain it). He did not think it made sense so he called the Water Foreman at Hooper Water and did some research for me. After speaking with the foreman, he realized he could not do the testing himself but he was able to recommend a plumber for me. James took time out of his day to explain to me what the test was and why it was required. When I asked if I could pay him for his time, he declined. He went way above and beyond to offer help to someone he did not know and did not expect any compensation. If I have a plumbing issue in the future - James will be the first person I call.

James was so great! Our sump pump died and so our basement began to flood, but no more than 30 minutes or so after calling James he was here and working. James was amazing and made sure to talk us through everything he was doing, he even checked out a few other places around our basement and gave us some useful tips. His work was very clean and made sure not to track anything around our house. He was also great to chat too and humorous! We would definitely use his services again and recommend him to our family and friends!!!
