Company Overview

The ""Right Ones"" to Get in Touch With - Your Pueblo Plumbing Authorities

Proudly serving Pueblo and nearby regions since 1949. We are a locally owned and managed company. Fully licensed and insured.

The company began with Jim Wright in 1949 and was passed to Frank Jones around 1969. Ken and Tina Gulley acquired the business in 1990. We provide full plumbing services for new construction and remodeling, catering to both residential and commercial needs, with a focus on service and repair. We install and maintain steam and hot water boilers, water heaters, and tankless systems. We tackle jobs of all sizes, whether large or small.

In May 1977, I became part of Wright-Jones Plumbing & Heating following six years in the Navy. Frank Jones instilled in me the importance of customer service. He was a remarkable leader who showed every customer honesty and respect. In 1990, I acquired the business alongside my partner, Tina, whose assistance has been essential throughout our journey.

We have an old boiler that is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Our boiler stopped working on the coldest day .Ken at Wright Jones figured how to fix the system and we now heat. They responded to our call quickly and we now have heat.thank goodness.

I wish I had read these other reviews before calling this company on a recommendation from a neighbor. Please read this and all other reviews about Tina Gulley, who is exceptionally rude, will avoid calling you back, and has no intention to assist whatsoever. We were told by Kyle Miller that he would speak with her regarding the excessive fees invoiced to us without breakdown of the charges or explanation.

While I am sure all other jobs that go without a hitch are probably fine. The issue is when there is a problem (as you read in other reviews), Tina does not have the customer service skills to handle it like a professional. It saddens me that this business that doesn't have the ability to approach problems OBJECTIVELY to find a solution.

Avoid this place like the plague, go with Flow Right Plumbing. They completed a job for us for TEN THOUSAND dollars less than this place quoted. Yes, TEN THOUSAND dollars less. How is possible to be THAT far off from your competitors in the same geographical area? I will never know because they don't call back.

Great service, professional, friendly.
We Just moved into our house, and our kitchen sink was clogged. Shawn was here on time, took care of the clog in no time flat. He put everything back together, tested the sink and garbage disposal several times to make sure all was good. Shawn is an exceptional employee. I highly recommend Wright Jones!

Have contacted Wright Jones multiple times to fix my radiator. They have showed up multiple times only to say that they ""have to get the part at the warehouse"" and then leave and never come back. Just really awful service. Not reliable. It's been well below freezing the last few nights and yet they show no urgency. Would not recommend at all.

I had a good experience with this company. The scheduler/office manager was very nice, and gave me a price right away: $100.00/hour, and prorating any part after the first hour. The plumber, Kyle, came within two hours, and he had my drain unclogged within the hour. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. He listened to me, and answered all my questions; he put me at ease. I believe the price was reasonable; he cleaned up after himself, and was ever so helpful. I really appreciate the service I received. I, wholeheartedly, recommend them. Thanks Kyle, and Wright Jones Plumbing and Heating.

My hot water heater went out on us sometime between 3 am and 5 am one morning. I know this because I work a swing shift and get home around 2am. I had used the hot water that morning before going to bed to wash my hands. My wife saw the water heater was leaking into a pan we have under it that morning and left me a note about it. This is important because of the excuse given by Wright-Jones's technician as to why the heater was leaking.

Initially my home warranty company set up an appointment with Wright-Jones to come out on 04/10/18. I spoke with Tina at the company who set up to have a tech come out at 0730 to assess my water heater, then go to the company and get a replacement, then return at 0900 and replace it. I informed her I would be leaving that afternoon as I had to be in the Springs before 2pm. She assured me it would be done before that.

By 0845 on 04/10/18, still no tech. After calling Tina again she informed me they received an emergency call the night prior and had to pull my tech to go take care of that. Not sure what constitutes an 'emergency' and why a hot water heater that broke and was leaking water continuously was not also an emergency. She informed me a tech would be coming out that morning with a new water heater and would take care of the issue. I received another call at about 1040 saying the tech was going to be leaving their company and head my way. By 1115, still no tech. I called the company back and let them know I was leaving and they could reschedule it for the next day.

A tech for Wright-Jones (Jason) finally comes out just before 0800 on 04/11/18 to assess the heater for my home warranty, and determines it must have gotten frozen and that was why it was leaking. Since he told this to my warranty company, they initially denied the claim and wanted a second opinion.

I called another plumbing company, Flow Right plumbing, and spoke to their owner. Apparently this is something only Jason has ever seen. A hot water heater with a pilot light, a tank of hot water and inside a house at 66 to 72 degrees, just suddenly froze, cracked and started leaking.

The hot water heater is only 3 or 4 years old, and the residence has been in continuous occupation since it was installed.

My recommendation, find a plumbing company with tech's that actually know what they are doing. Either Jason is making stuff up, or he is incompetent, or he intentionally wanted to get my claim denied.

I called Wright-Jones after Jason left, sometime prior to 0900, to find out just how common this is. I tried a couple of times and had to leave a voice message to get a return call.

I could tell I was being sent to voicemail as if someone there was trying to avoid me. You know how the ring tone will be interrupted and then it goes straight to voicemail? That was what it did several times after the first attempt.

A company with integrity would call that customer, or any customer back. Not this one. I finally get ahold of Tina around 1300. I could tell she didn't care to talk to me and was not about to provide any information for me.

This is definitely not the company you want to work with. Give Flow Right a call. He seemed to really know what he was talking about. The good thing here, is that there are a bunch of plumbing companies out here willing to not only take your money, but actually help too.

I have been a Wright-Jones customer for 15 years, calling them most recently just a few days ago. I have never been treated rudely or unprofessionally. The plumbers get in, get he job done and leave. I have absolutely no complaints. I have never felt as though the charge was unfair. No one else will ever touch my pipes! I would recommend them without reservation.

We had Wright Jones Plumbing out on a service call. Drew responded and was polite and knowledgeable. He found and fixed the problem in about 45 minutes. He did have to charge us for an hours time of being here which is the policy of Wright Jones Plumbing. He also gave us a quote on future work that I want completed. The quote was fair and competitive. We are now having another plumbing problem and I didn't hesitate to call Wright Jones Plumbing. I will call them for all future plumbing needs. Thank you Wright Jones
