Pilot light on my water heater went out and I couldn't seem to get it to light. Made a few calls to get rates and availability for a service call. Not only was Allen the most affordable, but he was available after regular business hours if needed! My work schedule was going to make it tough for me to make a 5pm service call. All other places I called either did not offer after-hours calls, or did so at much higher rates than what Allen charges.
Allen kept in communication with me throughout the day answered all my texts and questions before I even booked an appointment...very friendly and patient!! When he arrived he was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained what he felt the problem was and gave me an no-nonsense estimate of what it would be to fix the problem. When he told me ""I have no doubt you will have hot water by the time I leave here"", I knew I was in good hands! No upsell or BS...just fast, friendly, and honest service at a very reasonable price.
When the time comes to replace my water heater (or if I have any plumbing jobs for that matter), I know EXACTLY who I'm calling...highly recommended!

Allen came and flushed our tankless water heater yesterday. His communication is thorough and timely. I knew exactly when to expect him and he was early with any changes being communicated with plenty of lead time. He is a professional and very friendly - there was no mess left behind and he even checked the pressure valve while he waited. But, the best news - NO UPSELLING - no push to do more just did what was asked at the time he said he would and added us to his reminders list because I asked him to do so. Would totally recommend him for your plumbing needs.

My water heater went out overnight and needed to a quick way to get hot water again. Called Allen first thing on a Saturday morning, and he responded promptly and honestly, and had me back up and running with a new heater before 2pm same day! The best part is he even managed to get me into an upgraded water heater with more capacity 30 gallon increased to 50 gallons which is a game changer since I have 4 kids and they constantly drained the last tank of hot water. No longer! Thanks Allen!

Their response time is great! After discovering a leak, I called Allen from Wrench Re-Pipe on a Friday night at 8:00 pm and he responded right away and came out first thing the next morning on a Saturday. They re-piped our entire house and did a great job. During the entire re-pipe process, which took several days, Allen kept in touch with us via text so that we would know what was going on. I would highly recommend them if you need to re-pipe your house.

After the water department replaced our meter what was a small leak in my front hose bib became a large leak. There was also a possible leak at water turn off in same area. I contacted Allen through website and heard back within 20 minutes. I text him picture and description of problem and he gave me 3 options to fix. I decided to replace all the pipes in area and add pressure regulator. It was all original and I wanted to fix it all up. He came out same day after finishing his current job. He added two separate shutoff valves so water can be shut off separate from house and the yard sprinklers. Very happy with his work.

Allen was able to help me with my hot water heater repair. He changed out the drain valve so we could drain all of the sediment that had accumulated at the bottom of the h.w. heater. He responded very quickly and is very thorough with his explanations, making sure you understand his recommendations. Highly recommend.

Just for that, I will call Allen for a problem he can fix.
Thanks Allen.

Allen is truly a professional and master of his craft. He showed up at our house in a very timely manner, and got right to work. Our water heater had a rare and dangerous problem with the gas burner that Allen himself had never seen. Allen diagnosed the problem, contacted the manufacturer of our water heater, determined the replacement part needed, had the part FedEx'd over night, replaced the part the next day, and voila we were taking hot showers again. He also corrected a few other issues with the water heater, and demonstrated how to deep-clean our water heater. His costs were extremely reasonable, and we are very appreciative and satisfied with the work he did. Thanks Allen!

Allen was awesome and did a fantastic job on our extensive re-pipe and water system upgrade. We did a remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms on our 1950s house. We decided to do a complete re-pipe to replace our rusty metal pipes and our big water heater with pex pipe and a tankless. We wanted it done correctly by someone who does this as their main business and not just have the general contractor (GC) do it. Allen worked great with the GC doing the other remodel work. They worked together when called for and around each other when necessary.

He installed a Navien 240-A tankless water heater that's been great. We've had the clothes washer, dishwasher and shower going at the same time with no problem. He also put in a water softener system with an Industrial Purification Laboratories dual-tank 1.5 cubic foot setup. We weren't interested in a water softener when we started the process. Allen suggested it in our initial meeting. I've taken showers at hotels with soft water and sometimes you feel slimy after. He said the systems he puts in aren't like that. We did some research over the next couple of weeks and found good info that backed that up. I also saw that it would save money because we wouldn't have to be buying cleaners to scrub the hard water off of the shower glass and tile and can use less detergent in the washers. A water softener also extends the life of appliances. We like it a lot. My wife especially likes how her hair and skin feel so much softer.

We're really glad Allen suggested replacing the pipe that ran from the water meter to the house. The pipes were very old galvanized steel and ran near an area with a lot of tree roots. He discovered multiple small leaks when he dug it up. That was replaced with copper in a clearer run and now we have much better water pressure. He also added a nice water service array that has two hose bibs and separate valves to run sprinkler lines to the front and back yards.

We had our washer and dryer setup reconfigured in the garage. Allen swapped the washer position and installed a new utility sink and drain setup. Now our washer drains straight to the waste pipe instead of into the sink. Because the washer is in the garage on the opposite side of the house from the Navien tankless, Allen suggested we add a pump called a Chilipepper that brings hot water to the washer in the garage quickly. It's not something he sells, but knows it to be a good product. He's right. We push the button and the hot water is at the garage in about a minute. The washer is ready by the time the clothes are loaded in.

Because of the age of our house, there were a couple of issues the GC discovered with the drain hookups and pipe paths when the showers were torn out. Allen worked with them to solve the issues so that the new shower drains would connect solidly with the old drain system and new pipes and shower valves fit around the old vent stacks.

We're very satisfied with Allen and highly recommend the services of Wrench Re-Pipe. He worked his butt off every day he was there and was pleasant to talk to. He was on time every day and finished the different phases of work when he promised. He was always quick to respond to texts when the GC or I had a question. We had a lot done with the re-pipe, tankless, water softener, water service array, washer reconfiguration, Chilipepper pump and reverse-osmosis system. We're happy with it all!
