Called to have 2 faucets replaced. Was given a day they would be at my house (a Friday). They never showed up and they never called. That was a month ago, no word. We've used them before and they've done decent work. So I'd say they are competent, but very unreliable.

I have a home in High Falls, NY, and recently had a multi-split AC/heating unit installed for my second floor. It was a complicated job, going across the attic, and down inside the house, to avoid putting the pipes on the outside of the house. Woodstock Plumbing and Heating worked hard over 4 days to do this installation, and did an excellent job. The office called to alert me as to their ETA each day...they worked hard, and cleaned up after each day's work, even covering the floors in the hall and stairs the day it was raining. Their price was better than other estimates I have heard about from neighbors, and they work with Mitsubishi, which makes highly rated equipment. I would strongly recommend Mr. Hanowitz and his company for HVAC work.

I have used Woodstock Plumbing and Heating a few times in the last few years. They always arrived when they said they would and did professional work. I would certainly use them again.

Had a flood in the basement from a toilet sewage pump malfunction. Called and the owner came over to diagnose the problem and said his workers would be there at 2 to ""pull the pump"" so it could be replaced. They didn't show up until 5 at which time I'd gotten someone else to come. However, in the end the pump was fixed by Hot Water Solutions of West Hurley which discovered there was a wipe stopping it up. Woodstock plumbing would have removed it and charged me a fortune to replace it. Those pumps are very expensive. Avoid these guys.

Called them, they said they would call back when they could schedule a time to look at the job. They never called back. I called them again and left a message, they never returned the message. This seems to be a chronic issue with contractors! Don't waste your time with them, your job will never be completed!

Good work, but the proprietor is a genuine horse's ass of a human being that cannot be trusteed. Overcharged me $150 and became completely obnoxious when questioned about the bill.
