I can't say enough good about this business. I called on a Sunday night with a kitchen sink clog and Monday they are here fixing it. I called many folks and nobody could make it. They did such a thorough job of cleaning the lines from tenants flushing those line clogging ""flushable"" wipes. The unexpected bonus here they were both the kindest gentlemen. Anthony & Marc came to the rescue! They both went above & beyond! The owner answered the call & within an hour the amazing team showed up at the front door. I echo some of the other reviews. They cleaned out our landscape drain as requested and when they could have suggested some expensive alternatives, they took the position that we should see how the drain performs going forward before throwing money at something that may not be necessary - that approach is why I hired them and why I would recommend them. Andrew and his colleague communicated well (called me to update time they would be available), and were pleasant and open onsite.

I cannot give Wood's Rooter Service enough stars, they were so great. I had a leak in my finished basement, which was so stressful and aggravating. After figuring out it was due to a clog, I called Wood's on a Friday night at 6:10 pm. I was concerned that with the blizzard coming the next day we were going to have an unfixed problem for several days.

When I called, the owner picked up. I explained the problem. She gave the phone to her husband, Steve, who helped me diagnose the problem. He offered to dispatch a truck the very same night. I was so relieved. When the truck showed up, it was Steve's son. It's a true family business.

Steve's son, Devon, was here from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday night doing everything he could between his 30 ft. and 50 ft. snake to unclog our line. Finally, on his last attempt, we got it! It was like a miracle.

I would like everyone in Providence and Rhode Island to support this locally owned family business. It's a quality service at a totally reasonable price. If I could give them six stars, I would.

Highly recommended! Smart, clean, and responsive! We had a clogged kitchen drain.

First called another RI drain company, who sent an inexperienced tech who did not understand plumbing. He confused our drain with our central vacuum system and left without doing anything because he was ... confused. (We wouldn't have let him touch anything if had wanted to.) He charged us for a service call.

Made a distress call to our plumber, who recommended and set up a device appt with WRS. They were fantastic. Came in a Sunday morning, fixed the drain quickly and explained everything to us as they went

The city told me I had a broken sewer line and that I needed to have fixed. I first called a big company and made an appointment but had a funny feeling and when I checked Yelp their reviews were awful. I kept looking and found Woods. From the first hello they were helpful and tried to help right away. When they identified the problem they proposed a solution including having to hire an excavator to dig up the pipe, and worked to give me the best price possible. I have a friend in construction who was ready to help but even he could not match the Woods price. So excavation day came and five very pleasant men arrived first thing in the morning and worked about four hours to dig the hole and repair the pipe. When they were done they cleaned up the mess really well. I would definitely call Woods again and I would highly recommend them as well.
