I really can't talk these guys up enough! I had called 3 plumbers to get quotes on replacing all of my outdoor piping from the 60s. They quoted me $3,000.00 less than First Service Plumbing! They had done work for my grandmother in the past and she loved them too. They did a wonderful job! They ended up having to reroute the piping. I was told by first service plumbing that would cost me $15,000.00, and woods did it for $5,000.00. No joke! $10,000.00 less than another plumbing company!!! They are professional, kind, with the best work and price in town! They are changing out my water heater as we speak. I will never call anyone else in crescent city again. Woods does it all and is by FAR the most experienced and best plumbers you can get in this town! I just can't talk them up enough. Thank you for all you have done for the generations in my family!

Last year my well kept stopping when we had the power outage problems and 2 days no water I called Woods and the pleasant receptionist put me on a waiting list. Very empathetic to my statis schedule me right away but no one showed. Being the original installers since 1956 they were my main goto. 6 days went by I was so miserable, begging on the phone to the receptionist. All of a sudden a man gets on the phone and says we will never come stop calling us ever again. 6 days you wait to tell me that. yelling in front of the reception area. I do not know the man. lucky for me the past owner of the helped and it is still working.

My stepdad came to try to change my shower head and it opened a can of worms. Called Woods Plumbing and they came out and fixed it right away. However, it was a temporary fix. I asked for a quote and had to call 5+ times over three weeks to get more than a phone call that said they were too busy to work on it or follow up. Obviously they didn't want my business. I asked for a quote for a specific tub surround at Home Depot and they said they only work with a contractor in Grants Pass and only do cultured marble tub surrounds. I said that was not what I wanted. They gave me a quote for the cultured marble surround weeks later anyway even though it wasn't what I wanted. It was a $5-$6k quote and for that price I should get what I want. I reached out to another plumber in town and he got me something similar to what I wanted in a much better $2k price. Woods fixed my problem temporarily so there's no leaks but what I wanted as a customer was not important enough to them to get me a quote in less that a month. Small projects I recommend. Large ones I do not.

Had Woods replace a 25+ year old water heater. . Justin and his helper showed up on time, professionally dressed, and worked diligently. They cleaned up when they were done, and were friendly and extremely knowledgeable about plumbing issues in the area. (We're new to the Oregon Coast!). We highly recommend Woods Plumbing!

Please save your money and your time! I would give them 0 stars, if I could. We had an appointment scheduled with them at 0930 and the plumber did not show up until 1430. That is five long hours to wait, for a scheduled appointment. The plumber, nor the company, called to let us know they would not arrive as scheduled. We had to contact them directly, countless times, to find out any information. When he finally arrives, he looks around the house for 10 min and decides snaking the toilet is best, since the clean out valve isn't easily accessible. He snakes the toilet for approximately 10 min (max), puts the machine back in his vehicle and runs water for 10 min. Then, he disappears. I soon realize he has left my property. He shows back up about 30 min later and re seals the toilet. He tells me that it is good to go, but we will need some pipes replaced. I was under the impression this meant, it would work for longer than 8 hours. I was mistaken.
I called the office to realize my bill is for 2 hours of labor (at $90 hr), the use of a snake ($50) and part to seal my toilet ($7.75). First off, he was not at my property for 2 hours. When the plumber was questioned about his time by his office, he stated he left because he needed to get a bolt for the toilet. (1. When I asked him the day of service regarding sealing the toilet, he said, there would be no additional fee to me, because it would be included in the service fee and would take him minutes. 2. He never told me he was or needed to leave my property for any reason/part.) Also, when I asked the plumber how much my bill would be, he couldn't give me an answer nor an estimate. He said, I would get a bill in the mail.
As you can see below, the problem
is not fixed. While I am left with a $238 bill.

I called because my drains clogged up in my house. All of them. And the seal on one of my toilets was leaking. I was told it would be $85 for the first hour and I think $60 an hour after that. I wasn't told that was per person. Two guys came out, dug some holes, put in a two way clean out, and left. I forgot all about the toilet seal and I didn't want to call them back. That would be another $85 for the first hour. I was shocked when I got the bill. It was indeed as they told me, $85 for the first hour and $60 an hour for the rest. But that is PER PERSON. I was charged twice what I thought it would cost and I'm not happy. I have no complaints about the work that was done (though the holes they dug weren't big and most of the time was spent talking), but just be careful. I'd have told the second guy to stay in the van if I'd known I would be charged double.

Water well pump quit overnight, what a pain to wake up to no water. Woods was able to get it working before lunch, hot showers are great.
