Our water heater gave up on us on a Friday night - while we were sleep deprived and shell-shocked with a two-week-old baby! Jac came right over Saturday morning and tried to breathe life back into the unit. When that didn't work, she gave us all the options and recommendations. We waited until Monday to get a certain model and Jac had us up and running by noon. Great service, reasonable prices!

Jac is great. We knew her very casually socially, and when we needed some plumbing problems diagnosed and fixed, we called her up. We've used her several times now (tub, toilet and I believe she even took a look at our water heater connection) and have found her to be trustworthy and her work to be very good. She really does take the time to figure out what is wrong, rather that fixing something that might or might not be a problem. She's also excellent at explaining your options and what she can do (and what is likely to work the best). As a customer/client you feel like she has your best interest in mind and will work with you until the issue is resolved satisfactorily. If she needs to get a part, or is running a few minute late or whatever, she is great about letting you know. No hanging out for hours wondering.

To make a long and arduous story short:
We rented a snake to deal with a sewer drainage problem on our own. Encountered a couple major problems. Called Jaq on a Sunday morning; she showed up about 15 minutes later, spent an hour evaluating the problems and helping us, under the rain, before she had to leave for an appointment. She called back a couple hours later having discussed the problem with her guy Paco, convinced that they could remove the snake that was stuck and return the machine in once piece. Bright and early Monday morning, Jaq and Paco showed up, did some magic, removed the snake, and left, charging a very fair price.
Life savers. Committed to helping people out. Very knowledgable and experienced (in the end, they were right about the problem, and the Home Depot tool rental folks were wrong). Didn't judge us for trying to do the job on our own; on the contrary, we got respect and encouragement. Will call them back in a heartbeat.

Great service. I must admit I chose the service based on its name and the reviews. Never had a plumber before and perhaps was more inclined to have a woman do the service. I guess all those TV representations of burly men overcharging got to me :-). Well the proof was in the doing - Jac came and she took care of the problem lickety split and taught me how to fix it myself in the future. Good price, efficient and knowledgeable service. Way to go.

Jac is fair, honest and very quick. She actually wanted to teach me how to take care of some simple things myself. Sadly, I have no interest in being handy but I respected her for the attempt. Good suggestions on other things that needed fixing, but no hard sell on getting them done. Awesome.

I called Jac in the morning today to fix a clogged kitchen drain and she was able to fit me in in the afternoon. Great communication- she called later to let me know when I could expect Paco, and Paco also called to let me know when he was on his way. Paco recommended some pipes be replaced because they were cracked and for easier repair in the future. I told him I could not afford the new pipes and additional time for him to go get them from the store(he suggested I could go buy the pipes while he snaked the drain, but my budget was still limited). He said he understood and fashioned a custom quick-fix for the leaky pipe, and voila~ no more clogged drain and backed-up dishwasher! Paco was very professional; he did not pressure me to spend the extra money, and he explained everything very clearly. I definitely recommend Women's Plumbing Repair. Repair was done in a little over an hour, but I was only charged for one hour- Thank You!
