Since our inception in 1982, we have been the go-to HVAC contractor for quality-focused customers across Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and Fountain Hills. Wolfgang and his family relocated to Phoenix in 1976, where he spent six years working for a local air conditioning firm. In 1982, Wolfgang launched Wolfgang's Cooling and Heating Corporation. His commitment to quality work, detail-oriented service, and excellence fostered a loyal and expanding customer base.
In 2000, adhering to German tradition, Wolfgang entrusted the business to his son-in-law, David Hinze, and long-time employee Tim Graves. They work together to build upon the solid foundation and values set forth by Wolfgang. While Wolfgang has stepped back from daily management, his values remain a significant influence on the company and its quality assurance.

Chris Brock was highly skilled and knowledgeable as well as thorough and detailed. We have had our fair share of AC technicians that didn't know what they were doing or did know what they were doing and either made the problem worse or didn't fix it. It had made me concerned about ever trusting an AC guy again. Chris broke the mold, not only did he not rip us off, he fixed the issue and charged us a reasonable and not exorbitant fee. I wholeheartedly recommend Chris B. He was a star!!
I made an after-hours call to the emergency line and Justin responded. He came out to the house, diagnosed and fixed a simple (thank goodness!) problem, and got my house cooling again. All within an hour from the time I picked up the phone! He was pleasant and courteous, and didn't complain about trying to fix the issue in the dark! Thanks Justin!
Jim T.Ish and the crew at Wolfgang's are consummate professionals. I had 6 estimates to rework the R8 duct work that was installed in my 1957 one story home. Ish was only one of 2 comfort specialists to actually do a manual D calc to determine the proper engineering needs for our home. The HVAC duct-work was reengineered May 2016 and today the our home is incredibly comfortable, even better than my in law's semi -custom Toll Bros. build. Our system is now whisper quiet, modernized and working extremely efficient. Moreover, I had a few questions a week later and Ish was very attentive. This company takes pride in their craft and it shows. It was not the cheapest bid, but in this climate, that was not a factor for me. I highly recommend this crew.
This was the worst customer service ever!!! AC went out in 119 degree heat. They said it would be 3 hours until they could come out. At the 2 hour 45 minute mark they called back and said that because we have never needed them in the past they were not willing to come out and help now. They waited 2 hours and 45 minutes to call us and tell us. By the time they called all the other places had closed. Don't waste your time asking them to come help. Completely disgusted with this customer service.

I read the reviews and am just shocked Our experience would be less than 1 if it were possible I see all of the 5 star reviews and question why are there not any 2 -4 reviews Something smells bad
Bottom line a tech on a semi annual check up informed my elderly mother that her AC unit needed extensive repair and that she would be better off to replace it
I own rental property and had the company that I use come and check out the unit
Their report the unit is working properly and in fact some of the parts they said were defective had recently been replaced. I am giving a true and accurate account of the events Bottom line I feel this company is very dishonest and tried to take advantage of a 90 year old single lady
I had excellent sales and customer service experience when I purchased a new A/C & Furnace system summer of 2012. Equipment has been running flawlessly ever since. Due to a work relocation we needed to sell the house and the buyer's inspector found where some trusses in the attic had been removed/replaced for the installation of the new furnace. A truss expert came in and recommended the trusses be repaired with new plating. Wolfgang's came out and looked at the trusses and agreed to pay for the remediation. Wolfgang's is absolutely an up-standing and respectful company to do business with and I highly recommend them. To be clear, the truss was replaced as found by the installers and there were no structural issues, however, since the sale of my house relied upon the truss work being certified by a structural engineer, Wolfgang's stepped up to the plate to make it right. They deserve a 5 star rating for customer service and professionalism. Thanks guys! :)
Every time I have Wolfgang's out to my house for service they have been great. I recently purchased a new system and the install team was courteous and did a wonderful job. My master bedroom was the hottest room in the house and they fixed that issue as well. They went above and beyond what I was expecting. I know it is hard to find an air conditioning company you can trust and that is why I would not use anyone else and recommend them to everyone. I think that one guy that posted a negative review had the wrong company.There are 7 extremely positive reviews listed under ""not recommended"" reviews. I have no idea why. Read those if you want to know more about Wolfgang's.

After years of waiting to replace my original a/c units, I found them thru my neighbor. Top notch from sales all the way to install. They showed up on time, and in uniform. Very, very professional speaking, and very polite. They ask for permission on everything, and take the time to introduce themselves. They go as far to cover their shoes when entering my house. Every time.
They are not the cheapest company, but you get what you pay for. I replaced both of my units, and the quality of materials used was commercial grade throughout. I fully expect years of trouble free operation
