Established in 1982, we have become the HVAC contractor of choice for those who prioritize quality in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, and Fountain Hills. Wolfgang and his family relocated to Phoenix in 1976, where he spent six years working for a local air conditioning firm. In 1982, he founded Wolfgang's Cooling and Heating Corporation. His commitment to quality work, detail-oriented service, and excellence fostered a loyal and expanding customer base.
In 2000, following German tradition, Wolfgang passed the leadership to his son-in-law, David Hinze, and longtime employee Tim Graves. They work together to build upon the solid foundation and values set forth by Wolfgang. While Wolfgang has stepped back from daily management, his values remain a significant influence on the company and its quality assurance.

I had a single handle shower valve go bad on a Sunday. I called Wolfgang's Plumbing and spoke to Savannah and got scheduled. They were the only company willing to help which was important because I had no water due to a corroded and broken pipe.
I was later contacted by Jeff Orr. I explained my situation in detail provided pictures as well.
This was very late afternoon.
Jeff had a tech available but since it was late he wasn't sure if he could get the part. Jeff explained everything very clearly to me.
Jeff went further, and while his tech was getting ready to, Jeff was already working to get the part to be sure they could get my situation repaired.
His tech Jay showed up, again, very late on a Sunday. Jay was pleasant. Professional and got straight to the job..There are not enough good and kind things I can say about this experience with Wolfgang's. It was a bad situation from the start when I attempted the repair. This went as smooth as it could have. Jay worked late into the night with an exceptional attitude. He was informative. He explained pricing before he began.
From start to finish he was great..I can absolutely say that this experience, the level of professionalism all of it was spot on. You definitely do not get this treatment by service providers
anymore. I highly recommend Jeff and Jay at Wolfgang's Plumbing and when I need something else plumbing related, I'll be calling Wolfgang's without a doubt.

They way overcharged me for replacing a common 5uF capacitor on top of the pre-agreed diagnostic fee.

Our A/C went out on one of the hottest days of the year. Ed came out the next day (a Sunday) and fixed our unit. What a relief! The whole team at Wolfgang's was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for fixing my AC today. My AC went out last night and I already had a maintenance scheduled for 10am - 1pm this morning. I called and asked if I could be moved to the earlier side of of my appointment window. Jack R. actually showed up before my original appointment and was able to replace the capacitor. Jack went over everything he found and answered all of my questions.
I appreciate the text message with Jack's picture and letting me know that he was on the way.

Service Technician did a good job but no way to provide feedback unless you use a social media account.
While the service technician advised all was well, which it was, their sales department recommended added surge protection to the AC units which we believe we do not need.

After giving 4 stars and still no one has reached out to tell me why the 798$ filter bracket was not fully installed and no money back. The owner says doesn't know who I am but in previous reviews he said the workers did good. This guy wants your money will find a way to rob you for some of it blaming everyone but himself

It was the first warm day of the year and our air conditioner wasn't turning on. I called Wolfgang at 3:30 and they had Octavio at my place at 4:30. Octavio was persistent in finding the problem even though he had already worked a full day. Wolfgang, you are very fortunate to have Octavio on your team.

Once again I was very pleased with the service I received. Arizona Cold Air was the company before and they originally installed my A/C system several years ago. I have only used your service for maintenance and have always been happy. My technician today was Jack and he was super friendly and explained the service he was performing and explained any issues he found. I like pictures he took of my components that needed attention and that was also sent to me in an email. Also, I felt the service charge was very fair for the work that was performed. Thank You.

Wolfgangs replaced my water heater which had been leaking. The price was right and Joshua was completely professional, on time and courteous. I had a flat tire at the time that he tried to air up but was unsuccessful, so he put on the spare for me. He was my hero that day. I have had him come back to install a new bath sink set since then. Totally reliable and trustworthy. I'll keep using them.

We called this company for a warranty repair on our RHEEM Hot Water Heater, asking clearly, ""Do you do warranty work on RHEEM products?"" We were told, ""Yes, we do, but there is a trip charge OF $99 and likely a labor charge for the time spent"". We knew the parts were warranty covered, and we knew from other vendors it would take about one hour to do the labor. We said yes, since this company could come to our home the same day and the others were 2 day wait times. We also requested only OEM (""Original Equipment Manufacture"") parts. Since we new what was needed, we gave them the Model Number of the unit to assure they had the correct equipment.
When they arrived, they quickly (less than one hour) replaced the parts and departed. Later that day, we discovered the unit was still not working correctly, and the parts were NOT OEM. The next day the Service Person appeared and changed out the parts again, this time with what appeared to be OEM. This took about 35 min.
For this ""repair"" we were charged $640 to our CC. We were told the price of the parts would be refunded to the card as soon as RHEEM verified the coverage (We had already verified the coverage), which we knew to be in place. This credit was NOT made to our account by Wolfgang's Heating and Cooling.
We called their Service Manager, Mr. Leslie, who stated flatly, ""Wolfgang's does NOT charge an hourly rate. We charge a Flat Rate to repair the appliance. That flat rate to you is $640"". Mr. Leslie also stated, ""We do not work directly with RHEEM on their warranties"".
This certainly appears to be deceptive advertising and is quite ""confusing"" to the public. If their Scheduling Person had clearly stated they don't do RHEEM warranty work and they charge Flat Rate fees, we NEVER WOULD HAVE USED THEM.
We did offer to remove and return their parts at our expense and pay only their $99 trip charge (also quite high), but they refused.
