During the recent cold snap in Spearfish, first we experienced our furnace quit. Wolff's lent me a couple of space heaters for a couple of days until their tech could get to us, determine the problem, and get our furnace working again. Then our water heater quit working and they replaced it in about nine days. I have used Wolff's services for years and they are professional, courteous, and responsive! I will continue to rely on their service!

Rod who works for Wollf is the one company I would not recommend. These people are lazy, complacent, and incompetent. When you ask for a certain job to be done they either mess it up, show up two weeks late, or don't do it at all. When he opens and closes a cabin he is in a hurry or doesn't have the faculties to finish the job the first time. He left the heater on from September to May and it burned through $1200 of propane on a 1000 gallon tank, I have also asked him numerous times to replace a small hot water tank and he would say he couldn't do it, I found a company that did it the first time they came out. This last time they told me he completed a winter closure and billed me for it, however I have cameras inside that show that lights were left on and the RV fluid had not been touched, finally after he came back out and I presume did his job I noticed he and his long haired companion were helping themselves to the rest of the remaining RV fluid that I purchased, the RV fluid is on camera being taken to their work truck. Another time with a different employee I had them snake a toilet on the weekend and had to help him drag his 75 pound equipment upstairs, I also had to go out and look at the septic tank because I was evidently an employee for Wollf that day?... He was there for 2 hours and I received a bill for 6 hours . You can't make this stuff up. This December they mailed me the keys for two of my cabins and said per our previous conversations we think it is in everyone's best interest that I peruse other avenues for plumbing and heating, the thing is we never had a conversation about any of this. We just wanted the job done correctly. This company is looking for shortcuts and quick fixes, do yourself a favor a find another company with skill and integrity.

To my recollection, I have contacted Wolff's for plumbing and heating related issues 3 times in the last year and a half and each experience was better than the last. This is a top shelf company that knows the meaning of customer service. Rod stopped by today to install a new fixture in our shower. He is very communicative, an excellent plumber and a very nice guy. A true professional who loves his job and it shows. I highly recommend Wolff's Plumbing and Heating and Rod in particular.

We have used Wolf's for many years and our last experience was not good. We called to have a washer drain replaced and they showed up after scheduling an appointment for this and stated they did not have the tools to complete the job and were extremely busy and would come back. Our fault??????
They returned and fixed the issue but we're charged $75 dollars for the first 5 minute visit that was rescheduled due their issues.
How is that right?????
So if you call them for an appointment ask first if they have the tools to complete and the time.

We called Wolfe's because of a water leak in our kitchen. They found the leak in our dishwasher, repaired it, and offered excellent advice for future maintenance. I was very pleased!

This rating is for the employees Ryan and Chaddick. If you want highly ethical plumbers then ask for either one of these guys. Sometimes it's rare to come across such decent men. These two here fit that description. Ask for them when needing service!
