They ruined my stainless steel sink with a drain cleaner they used. It looks terrible! Splatters all over that can't be cleaned or shined out. Disgusting. They didn't care. The guy that did it was such a clod anyway. The other guy that came with him was a lot nicer. I won't ever call them again.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. 0/5! My air handling unit was leaking only when the AC was on so I shut it off and called Witt & Gaines Inc. I told them what was going on and told them it only leaked when the AC was on so it'll be off when they come. They couldn't give me a specific time when they could come out, just said they would give me a call the morning of on a day they think they could make it. Thought that was not great but whatever, I know things happen. Luckily my mother was working from home during this time so she was able to go over to my house on whim whenever they decided they could come.

They came out and replaced a $3 pvc fitting and left. I get home from work a few hours later and turn the air on and the thing is still leaking. Turns out they didn't turn on the air before leaving when they were there to find out if they actually fixed it. I asked for them to come back out and fix the issue and to not charge me for their first attempt. They said they have to charge me the $100 for the first attempt and couldn't give me a legitimate answer why. They were hesitating on the phone when I asked to know why. I thought fine, then they probably won't charge for the 2nd time they come out. They said they were going to charge me again for their 2nd attempt and at that point I wasn't very pleasant. I told them to forget it. I'll find someone who can actually fix this and not waste my money. WHAT A WASTE! $100 down the drain. Why would they charge me for the first attempt if they didn't fix the problem? Or why did they plan to charge me for their 2nd attempt knowing they charged me for the first attempt and in the first they didn't fix it?

I called another place. I won't say where but the skilled professional said ""wow they gotcha good"".

In conclusion, I do not recommend this place. The scheduling part wouldn't have worked if my mother wasn't working from home and able to go over to my house when they called. That's not what bothered me though. I understand things happen, I'm a reasonable person but this was horrible. I can understand the scheduling stuff but to charge me for NOT FIXING THE ISSUE is completely ridiculous. I will never use this place again.

Called Witt and Gaines HVAC and Electric company in Oak Harbor Oh. on a Friday morning 9:30-10:00 am because I couldn't get my propane furnace to light. The lady said she would have someone available after lunch. So I waited and waited until 3:00 pm but no one showed so I called and asked what time someone would show up. The lady said ""oh"" well the service guy had a lot of calls after lunch and she wasn't sure when he could get here ( I guess it doesn't matter that I called before lunch) but anyway, I said so you can't give me an approximate time, she then replied well I'm not sure if he can make it today, yeah he probably won't make it today. I'm a reasonable person if someone had just called and said we got tied up, I could contacted another HVAC company and still had my furnace repaired that day. I called another company and they could not send anyone until Monday. I would not recommend using this company because they are not reliable or professional, they will get to you when they feel like it.

We had a leaking toilet and called this company. They set an appt. for the next day. They called later and said we would be first things between 8:15-8:30. Nate arrived around 8:25. He was friendly, professional and answered all of my husbands questions. He fixed the toilet and when we asked him to check on another he founds several problems which he fixed immediately. We were very pleased with his work and the cost for the house call and repair was very reasonable. We would recommend this company to anyone. They also do electrical work.
