Andrew responded quickly to my consultation, and had very flexible hour to fix jammed my door knob.

He explained his flat rate service is $90, with possibly service + replacement piece of $170. Comparatively, other quotes I received are around $150 for hourly rate and $480 for total charge with replacement. Everything was completed within the $90 budget, and he mentioned that if door knob were to be jammed again, the second visit would only be charged for the replacement part ($80) which is reasonable and thoughtful to inform customers.

I needed my kitchen window sill repaired, it was rotten and termite eaten. Andrew provided me an estimate within moments of posting my job request. He gave me a competitive quote compared with other quotes I obtained. He also had some insightful comments on the best way to go about fixing the window sill. I really liked what he had to say, so I decided to hire him. I'm really glad I did!

Andrew came the next day, he was precisely on time, and got right to work. He removed the damaged wood, replaced portions with new wood, and filled the rest with wood putty. He left for a few hours to let it dry, and returned again precisely on the agreed time! He had intended to sand it down, but the putty was not dry yet, as he had to use a great deal since the sill was so damaged. He recommended to allow it to continue to dry for a couple of days. Other handymen might have rushed the job to get it done, but Andrew took the time to do it right and allow the putty to thoroughly dry. He returned a couple of days later to finish the job. He sanded and painted the sill and now it looks great! Very happy with Andrew's work! Be sure to see the before and after photos.
