They just made my day. Literally the happiest I could possibly be right now (in the middle of a pandemic). My hot water heater went out last week. And I called a different company that came up higher on the search algorithm on Yelp to come take look at it. They told me I would probably need a new water heater and that they could take care of it for me for the low low price of $2400. They mentioned there was a small chance it was still under warranty and that I could check that out first but stated they thought I should just replace it since it's not a great water heater anyway. Not wanting to spend $2400 without exploring all options I called the company that made the water heater and discovered that mine was still under warranty. They recommended Wischmeyer's as the local service providers. This is where the first part of their awesome customer service came in. I am a resident physician. And when all of this went down I was working nights leaving no time in my life for anything but work and sleep. I spoke to their 24hr answering service about the issue and told them it wasn't an emergency but that I would be hard to get a hold of during business hours since I would most likely be sleeping. The office staff accepted this challenge and opted to text me updates and requests for information so I could book a service call as soon as possible. It was perfect. I could sleep through the day and respond whenever I had a minute at work. Then when they showed up for the service call today, they worked on the water heater for about 10 min. Came upstairs and told me the part would be here by Friday and in the meantime they put a generic part in place that should allow me to take a hot shower until the right part came in!!!! My joy cannot be fully described. And total for the service call, temporary part and placement of eventual replacement warranty part ....$250! Thank you

Technician showed up on time, was knowledgeable, and fixed the multiple issues that were contributing to having water in my basement. The dispatcher sent a text when I made the appointment to confirm the day and time, and I received a text the day of the appointment to let me know the technician was on his way. The service was overall better than I expected.
