They charged me 9.99 for some sort of insurance for a one time job, several months after the job, and did not tell me. No idea what sort of insurance this is and if they will keep charging me this 9.99 at their leisure. I am 63 years old and was not told of this. I called them to have this taken off and she said she would but she never did. Beware of being charged this without your knowledge.

This is the only way I can respond to your commen. That charge was never explained to me and it was slipped in there with the other charge. I would never had agreed to it. This was a one time job.
I also called your office on Wednesday 11/27 and she told me they would take that charge off. Had she done that like she said she would. This would have all been avoided, but it was not done nor did I receive a call back about it.

I am just finding out now this is a monthly fee and not a one time insurance/maintenance fee also! Is that correct? I most certainly was not told I was signing up for this. It most certainly was slipped in there with the other bill for the work done (of which there is no dispute about) and I was not informed I was signing up for a monthly fee! I most certainly called on 11/27 (and sent a text also) to have the 9.99 taken off and she said she would. I most certainly did not I am now going to be charged each month for this!

very disappointed in their service. we had a plumber out for a consultation. his water heater quotes were double of other companies. furthermore two hours after he left we had a home inspection who sited a leak. upon follow up Wingate never returned our calls to come back out and verify there was not one (or that is was missed). do not recommend.

Wingate responded to my service inquiry through Yelp. I had a leaky kitchen pipe and a clog or frozen pipes. I can only rate as to pricing. A plumber whose last name was Wingate showed up and quoted a price of $1796. He estimated it would take 3 hours and he could come back the next day to do the work. I said I'd need a second quote at that price. He charged me $89 for the quote, no diagnosis was given. I wasn't told about this fee when the appmt was scheduled but I didn't want to argue with a strange man so I paid it. My dad fixed the leak with some apoxy (?) and a plumber from a different company came here today and fixed the clog in under an hour at an hourly rate of $125. So I think the price quoted by Wingate was more than a little bit high.
Also-I wasn't told about the estimate fee up front. Every other company did.
-the Wingate plumber showed up only to give the quote, every other plumber that showed up was available to do the work when they showed up.

We had a water line leak outside and decided to use Wingate again. The job turned into a nightmare of issues, all completely beyond Wingate's control. Crazy (really) original installation, incorrect utility marking lines, far too close electrical line placement - you name it. Throughout it all Jason and eventually Chris stayed positive and flexible. This is the second time I have used them and will continue to do so for plumbing, HVAC, etc. Great company.

We had our furnace and ac replaced recently and we can't recommend this company more. They were friendly, courteous and helpful. Definitely would work with them again.
They took the time to discuss our options, talk us through the right decision, and after installing insured that they left without any unanswered questions.

Wow, what a great company! The staff is so friendly, from the girl that takes the phone calls to the service technician! Technician came when he was expected, was very knowledgeable and made sure we understood our options. Will definitely use them again!
