Whiny River does not want residential customers. After 15 years of service by a company which Whiny River bought out, they gave us a BS excuse to not service. I called, gave my name, sat on hold for seven minutes, and then was forwarded to voicemail. Don't waste your time.

Horrible service, unprofessional responses.

I've been trying to get them to come out to do an ""actual"" inspection on our field for almost 60 days after some contractors drove across it.

The first ""technician"" that came out said it was fine ""nothing was squirting out"". He took a few photos and told me a detailed report would be sent with the findings later that day. Time on site: 15 minutes. It was a Friday at 3pm so I'm sure the guy just wanted to go home instead of digging to inspect.

A week later I still did not receive the inspection report so I called their office only to be greeted rudely by the girl on the phone; it seemed like I was bothering her by asking for the report. She sent a copy of the invoice not the report. I called back again and asked for an inspection report and she said ""that is it"" - After emailing the office and complaining, I received a blank email from Cara the ""regional branch manager"" with no explanation, greeting or any words at all just an attachment with an poorly written inspection report.

I emailed again asking for more detailed information and they responded that"" it's fine and the inspection was proper"".

I emailed again asking if they would ""guarantee"" my system was not damaged based on the visual inspection of my lawn they had provided. I also asked again for a thorough inspection of the system by specifically digging up around it and actually looking at the cells. I said I would pay for it, I just want to fix it now instead of having issues down the road.

At this point I was sent a very long letter back from a ""Theo"" with details and explanations. It was a good reply but mostly I believe it was to disclaim that they do not offer any warranty or guarantee ""implied or expressed"" on condition of my field based on their inspection because it's subterranean.

I replied again saying thank you for the detailed response and again asked to have it dug up and inspected so we can be sure it's OK.

I received no reply after 30 days, three emails and one phone call.

The email reply was to a group with three of their employees. Yet, all three ignored my requests. They are one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever communicated with. How can a ""regional manager"" just ignore clients or send emails without words, introduction or explanation as to why they are emailing? It's surreal. and tells you everything you need to know about this deadbeat company and their leadership.

Terrible place charged 500 for a line cleaning. Didn't put on my toilet back on, caused damage didn't put wax seal, have to call real plumbers, worst experience with a company ever. Made me wait 72 hours after, didn't do the service I requested and charged me a ridiculous amount

Very easy to schedule a septic tank pump out and filter cleaning. Company kept me informed before and day of my appointment. Arrived as scheduled and called me on the way with ETA which was right on. Daniel, technician could not have been more pleasant and professional. He showed me my system at every step and made sure I understood and was happy with the service. When service is needed in the future I'll definitely call Wind River Environmental.

DO NOT USE. There are dozens of other companies that charge less and are WAY more professional/ experienced.

I had Wind River come to my home to pump my septic. I am a new home owner, and had a rough idea as to where my septic is. (like a 10v15 square foot area). On the original call with them, I stated this location. When they arrived, they could not find it. They ended up charging me almost $300. For nothing.

Believing I was in error as to the location, I reached out and ultimately had Fred Cook's Septic come. He found it in 10 minutes. In the location I had thought.

I contacted Wind River several times, and they refused to do ANYTHING other than try to find it again, offering to charge me almost $500 to find.

I have been a customer of the predecessor company Cooks Sanitation for many years. When Windriver bought the company the service went to crap and ""customer service"" is no exist. Here is how it goes. ""We can give you a day but not a time"". We cannot give you a price until the tech gets there"". There is ZERO communication and the phone rep is just another monotone call center sounding guy named Vladamere that could care les that they lost a customer. Now remember I do not NEED this service I was PROACTIVELY doing this. Getting customers is tough in todays environment, lose one and try to get them back. The competition will thank you. Nice job to your agent Vladamere. Don't waste your time or money on these clowns.

They charged me $330 when I booked the pumping. Three days after the service, they tripled the price even though there were no problems, no repairs needed, etc. They are con artists.

Worst company I worked with. They billed us for work that wasn't done. We got it inspected and found out the filters were never cleaned and caused us major issues.
