Never use this company! They wanted to charge us 3000 for a new furnace and then tried to install a filthy used one. We had a different company come out and they repaired our current furnace for 300. They told us any competent, honest company would never have replaced it. We contacted channel wfaa news and they did a story on wt happened to us. They interviewed the owner of Wilson's and the guy lied through his teeth. They're crooks!

After they come out and get your money, they don't care about complaints. A Goodman system was installed and I have had nothing but problems since installation. One of the owners has now scheduled 2 appointments with me and has yet to actually show up.

Stay away from this bait and switch company. They quoted me a price of $325 for a drain pan then when I called them back the next day because their guy had not fixed the leak because my hall was full of water Steve Wilson said "the drain pan is now $475!!!" CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS LOUSY COMPANY???

I only gave Wilson's one star because half a star was not an option. They installed a gas furnace and gas hot water heater in my home. The furnace leaked, and they charged me $149 for a "service contract." Consequently, when my pilot light on the water heater would not stay lit, I could never get anyone out to repair it. I made an appointment, and no one showed up, despite the receptionist's having told me he would be en route within 30 minutes. If you bought a "service contract" from Wilson's, good luck using it. The "Wilson family guarantee" is not worth the paper it is written on.

I knew my compressor was going out, just needed an experienced tech to give me the confirmation. With part still under warranty, the tech quoted me $2,200 to replace plus refill the freon which said that mine was an R22 that nobody uses anymore that I needed an upgrade. Talked to my dad's friend who is an AC repairman & said he still uses R22 because it saves money for the customer in the long run. Also that his company would only charge about $500 max for a compressor replacement with freon fill for a unit as big as a 5 ton...mine is a 2 ton! Getting completely ripped off on this quote!! This company is shamming people....steer clear!

Could not help but write a review after getting yet another advertising postcard in the mail. My past impression was that they're out to make money instead of truly wanting to provide good service. I called to inquire how much it was to look at a sliced connector to my AC unit. The rude front desk woman who answered the phone quickly said $200!" I ended up calling an electrician who fixed the connector for $67. Another time I called, Ms. $200 gave me the same answer. It's as if she didn't even listen to my needs. If this is a family business, they need to get that front desk woman a back office job.

I called Wilson Heating & Air Conditioning when my air unit was not operating on 8/19/2011. It was 106 degrees that day.

The repair man said that the condenser was gone from the unit and it could not be repaired. He then proceeded to give me an estimate of 7400.00 for a new unit. I point blanked asked the repairman "can this unit be repaired in any way?". He replied no and then told me that the government had new rules about older units so I needed to blame them. This repairman also told me my furnace was about to die.
He charged me 89.99 and left. He was at my house a total of 15 minutes.

I called another repair company and they were able to repair my air conditioner and the cost of the part was less then Wilson's service call. It was the capacitor. This company did a check on it and besides being old there is nothing wrong with my unit or my furnace. When turning on the thermostat the unit would not come on and the repairman found that Wilson had unplugged my unit and left it that way.

I realize my unit is old and will need to be replaced but by repairing it I can now make arrangements to save for a new air conditioner unit and still have a cool house now.

Wilson Heating & Air Conditioning should be ashamed of theirselves for treating customers this way. If they don't want to repair a unit that is repairable, then they shouldn't take the service charge money. Not lie to their customers because they think they can make big fast bucks. When I replace my air unit, it definitely won't be with Wilson Heating & Air.

One star is too good for this company. I have seen other people review this company saying the same thing happened to them. Guess I should read reviews before I call but its hard when it is 100 degrees in the house.

AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

Don't even THINK about using these guys. I called them out to service my A/C. The guy did NOTHING -- I mean NOTHING. He told me my coils were leaking and gave me a $7500 quote to replace everything. He said, "there's nothing I can do." He didn't recharge the freon, didn't clean anything, didn't do JACK but give me a $79 service bill!

The next day I called another, more reputable company. They sent two guys out within a few hours. They recharged my freon, cleaned the outside unit, leveled it since it was slightly slanted, and gave me a quote to replace the entire thing for $1500 less than Wilson's quote -- with better equipment!!! Right now my A/C is pumping out colder air than it has in years.

Why couldn't Wilson just do this? Just do what I asked -- service and recharge my A/C unit? Instead of jacking me around with a high quote and a service fee for NO SERVICE!?

Now I look at the Better Business Bureau web site and see that Wilson has had 27 complaints in the last 3 years!!! Why didn't I check the BBB before calling these losers!??!

Don't make the mistake I made. AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS.
