Dave A.I've had a whole home humidifier and a brand new heating, air conditioning system put in my house by Wilson Brothers. Their customer service is great, scheduling was easy and flexible, and the service technicians were all friendly and knowledgeable. Only negative thing I have is that when they were installing the home humidifier, one of the techs accidentally damaged one of the A-coils of my existing HVAC system. It was an honest accident, which the tech explained to me WHY he did what he did. The tech apologized sincerely, and WB offered to give me a replacement coil at no cost. However, my wife and I came to the decision that we would explore the cost and time for a whole new system (given that ours was 17 years old). WB worked with us to get us a discounted price on the system, they completed the work quickly, and it's been a blessing to help us stay cool through the 90 degree days. Glad to have a dependable HVAC contractor like Wilson Brothers around.
Called them this past winter for a quote for new gas furnace as an alternate to Masi. Loved their overall company personality, friendly service and love our new furnace and humidifer. They applied a ""lagniappe"" by redoing our dryer vent, so nice.
They probably deserve 6 stars but the very next day our newer Whirlpool washing machine filled up w water when not in use and still doing it. We shut the intake off but strange.
Using Wilson Bros again for water heater
Louise K.I had my central A/C go out yesterday and left a message last night. They called today and went over a few things on the phone to be sure it wasn't something like a breaker etc. Got me on their schedule today and it is fixed, yay! I scheduled an annual maintenance for next week since we have not been having it serviced.
Denise B.Our first experience with Wilson Brothers will be our last. Called them for an emergency when we woke to a dead furnace. They came and said we had a clog in our line which they said they cleared. They restarted the furnace and we paid them $154.00 for the call. The furnace ran to temp and then shut down as normal. When the next cycle came on the furnace was blowing cold air. This was less than one hour after Wilson Brothers had supposedly fixed the problem. We called them back and were informed they couldn't return until the following day because they were going home due to the weather conditions (snowing). We explained they had been here less than an hour ago and we had no heat but the tech still insisted that they were going home and would not be able to come until the next day. We informed them we would stop payment on the check for a job not completed and find someone else to help us. Which we did. Thank goodness for Haffner's!
I have been with Wilson for close to 14 years. I chose them out of a large list of contractors to install my HVAC system in a new home. The system was complex and state of the art including hydro air and radiant involving many zones. They exceeded my expectations in every way from to design and ongoing service! Their staff is very well trained and I trust them to get it right every time. If you are looking for a long term company you can count on, give them a call. You won't be sorry!
Miss Otis R.My neighbor referred me to Wilson Bros after a harrowing experience with my heat exchanger. I've been a customer ever since. Very responsive and reassuring, and the maintenance contract gives me real peace of mind, especially since my system is older and when it does decide to give me a little trouble, it's always on a weekend or evening - knowing they are there is comforting, especially in the deep of winter. Their technicians are delightful, kind and polite.
Customer service...more like bait and switch. We signed up for a maintenance contract that covers repairs INCLUDING emergency repairs. So after many years of paying for this ""protection"", our A/C malfunctions on the first blazing hot day. We call at 9pm to say we need it repaired so we can sleep, only to be told it's not an emergency. BAIT AND SWITCH -- you sign the contract, they decide if you really would be okay sweating all night.
Appalling service with a side of indifference. My AC has been dysfunctional since late July/early August (as I write this it's late September), allegedly waiting to get a part that I just ordered online in 5 minutes after demanding they give me the specs. No phone calls/no follow up. No response or call back to my phone calls to them. I rarely if ever bother to write one of these reviews, but this has been just jaw dropping. Run. Don't walk.
I lived in Pepperell for 20 years and had Wilson maintain and install all my HVAC systems. When we had our original boiler and water heater, they came out and cleaned it.
When it was time for a new water heater, they came out and installed it the next day. The boiler and heater were damaged in a flood and they were out and got our home back to normal quickly and at a good price.
Courteous, prompt and professional. When we moved they were wonderful about getting the new owner acquainted with the filters and scheduling regular service calls.
Wilson brothers have been so helpful with my HVAC system. It wasn't originally installed by them, but they repaired my heating system and take care of my tune ups every year on my AC units. I highly recommend becoming a preferred customer with them. They give priority service to those who are (and I love that!)
