Company Overview

Our company, Willis Klein, encompasses four divisions that provide decorative plumbing, door hardware, residential and commercial hardware, and locksmith/security products, including safes.

We serve a diverse clientele, including homeowners, interior designers, decorators, architects, residential builders, commercial builders, and facilities managers.

The journey of Willis Klein began in 1960 when Willis Klein, a second-generation locksmith, established his business with a genuine focus on service.

Today, Larry R. Klein, the son of Willis, leads the company.

Larry recalls his first job with his father at 12, where he spent his summer sweeping floors and cutting keys.

In 1978, Larry took on the role of president of the company, which at that time had one division—locksmithing—and eight employees.

To improve customer service, he decided in the early 1980s to add door hardware and locks to the company's offerings.

Due to our proficiency in lock installation, builders began to rely on Willis Klein for their door hardware needs.

This expansion bolstered the decorative hardware division, prompting Larry to introduce designer and European hardware along with coordinating bath accessories.

From there, the business grew to encompass decorative plumbing and established a beautiful showroom to exhibit all these offerings.

Additionally, we partner with companies such as Waterworks to offer unique products.

Larry became the President of Willis Klein Showrooms in 1978, 18 years after the company was founded, taking over from his father, Willis Klein.
