Plumber did not show up wearing a mask. Wanted to install a garbage disposal that I wouldn't be able to put food in. I didn't feel comfortable with that plumber, so I contacted the office to tell them why I didn't have the disposal installed by that plumber. They never called me back and didn't try to resolve the situation. Guess I'm done using Williams.

I am very disappointed in Williams plumbin service I'm appalled that they would take advantage of a 91 year old man the way they did. The plumber that came to his house was rude and a real know it all. He guaranteed that the lateral lines were stopped up after digging up the lines yourself it was discovered that it was not clogged up therefore we spent 300 dollars pumping out septic tank pumped which it did not need it had been done 2 months previously soo I would definitely not recommend. Using williams plumbing for any reason what so ever large or small then when trying to resolve problem they were of no help actually very rude they got their money plus cost us alot of extra money to the tune of 360 dollars. Do not use williams plumbing for anything they don't stand behind their word they do not deserve five star rating not even a one star very dissatisfied customer I give them half a star rating

Price gouging at its finest.

We had water coming up through our LVP flooring in our kitchen. It was not obvious where the water was coming from and after I'd done all the obvious checks to make sure the water supply to the dishwasher and ice maker in the refrigerator wasn't leaking , or the dishwasher drain wasn't leaking or any obvious leaks from the sink drains etc, I determined that the leak must have been originating in the wall, probably from either a drain pipe or water supply line.

I contacted Williams Plumbing and they sent out a two-man team to investigate where the leak might originating. The service call was $110 and I was fine with that. They had to create 3 holes through the drywall in 3 different areas of the kitchen, (behind the dishwasher, behind the refrigerator and in the wall beneath the sink) to see where the leak was originating. They found wetness, but it still wasn't clear to them where the leak was. It wasn't until I stuck my arm up into the first hole cut and discovered wetness above the hole thus leading me to think that the drain pipe from the upstairs was the culprit. They then confirmed my suspicions by using a camera probe. I should mention that if they had done the same thing I did before cutting the the other two holes they would have discovered the same thing and it would have been unnecessary to cut the other two holes. And of course their ""repair"" does not include fixing the holes they make. So that's an additional expense I have to incur.

They drew up a proposal to fix the leak and the quoted price was nearly $800. They required me to sign that in order to authorize the work. It seemed like a pretty high price but I didn't really know how much work was involved to fix this so I signed it. The next day the 2-man crew arrived and 30 minutes later the fix had been made. It required that they cut a small section of drywall out of the wall in the bathroom (yet another thing they don't fix after the plumbing issue is fixed) so that they could gain access then cut out the cracked Y-connector in the drain pipe coming down from the upstairs. Once that was removed, they replaced it with a new Y-Connector (about a $15 part) and three flexible couplings to connect the Y-connector to the three pipes (about $6 each). So do the math... 2 guys, 30 minutes and about $50 in parts = about a $700 bill.

I have no complaints with the quality of work but the pricing for this quick repair was absolutely outrageous. When I called the company to discuss this I was given no satisfaction but simply told that I signed the contract with full knowledge of what the repair cost would be. However I can assure you that if the repair contract had included the line ""the repair will take 30 minutes for which you will be charged $700"" I would not have agreed to sign. Be forewarned, they do not charge an hourly rate. They charge a job rate and if the job takes a fraction of the time the book says it should take, you pay the full price.

I will never use Williams plumbing again.

We had a few minor issues to be checked out so I called Williams as we had used them prior. Issues: toilet making a strange noise and needed a part replaced, snake a shower drain, and lastly a kitchen faucet that kept dripping. Every repair was done well aside from the kitchen sink. The technician advised replacing the entire faucet and I knew there was a way to repair it to which he said we could replace a few of the parts inside and that would cost less, but that he could not guarantee the work...shady thing to say. Anyhow, he replaced some internal components and it stopped dripping for a couple of days then resumed dripping. I called Williams and they said they would probably need to send a more experienced person out. Wish we would have had an experienced person initially! Long story short, the technician (Josh, who was great) said all he would need to do was replace the handle and tighten a couple of fittings.

I would still use Williams in the future, but would request an experienced technician.

I'm writing this on behalf of my father who called Williams Plumbing to fix a small leak in the boiler room at his motel recently. The plumber came to check the leak, he tells my father that it's going to cost over $500. My father thought it was too much for such task but said okay since he needed the leak to be fixed ASAP. The plumber then tells him he needed to go get a part to fix the leak. It took him an hour..not sure why it took him so long to get a part. He comes back, works for an hour. Then says he needs to go get another part, which takes him another hour to get! He also tells my father that he needs to charge him more because he needed to get that other part (which really costed $40-$50). He fixes the leak within an hour and my dad ended up paying over $1,000! I feel like since the plumber knew my dad needed it fixed right away, he decided to double the price..this is ridiculous and makes me think Williams Plumbing is greedy!!! I would never recommend Williams Plumbing! They will over charge you!

Calab from Williams Plumbing offered to repair old metal P trap under a sink with PVC - for over $900! I'll give him the benefit of the doubt; maybe his PVC was gold plated.
I ended up doing it myself in under an hour including a trip to Lowes for parts - under $10. Oh, I paid them $110 for the privilege of their offer of over $900 to do this job.
I'll not be calling them again - EVER.
LATER: After several calls from Williams Plumbing, and the refund of the $110 - I just may call them again if or when I have plumbing problems.

Long story, but I summarize. Complete ripoff. I understand that it can't always go right but it is impossible to get in touch with a supervisor or anyone with authority. Always told they are out of town.

They do not stand behind their work and had me pay several times to fix their problems until I gave up and called a different company. Interesting, the new company guarantees all work for two years and didn't charge as much.

I feel sorry for the employees.

I understand that I will pay a premium amount during a holiday so I was willing to pay the $250 service charge when I called Williams Plumbing when my toilet was clogged over Thanksgiving weekend. The technician looked at the toilet for less than 5 minutes and said it would be an additional $110. I wanted it fixed so I agreed. After less than 5 minutes he said it was flushing properly. So for less than 15 minutes, it cost me $360. I had tried to fix it myself before calling and had taken the tank lid off. It was still on the floor after he left. And the toilet was continuously running. When I called Williams back they said I had only reported a clogged toilet, and didn't request that I needed it repaired. So since the technician didn't need to look in the tank, I shouldn't have expected him to replace the lid or wait around to make sure the toilet was totally functioning correctly. And to have the continuous running fixed would require a different technician and another service call. I think Williams plumbing has forgotten about good customer service over the $'s. I have used them for many years but will no longer use them after this experience.
