I just moved into a new apartment and needed curtains, pictures, and miscillaneous things hung. I reached out to Kelly for a quote because of his high ratings on Yelp. He responded within minutes and I had an appointment set shortly thereafter. He did a fantastic job and made sure I was happy with the height and positioning of all the things he had hung. His pricing was very reasonable and worth the great work he did for me. I know I'll have more things to get done around the house and I'll definitely be using Kelly for all of my future needs! I highly recommend!

I have used Kelly twice now and he has exceeded my expectations on both occasions. Last summer he installed an air conditioning unit in my wall (My wife hates the heat and this earned me several brownie points). It not only works great, but it looks awesome as well. He went above and beyond trimming it out and matching my exterior paint colors. More recently Kelly came and painted our kitchen. The quality of the work was outstanding but more importantly Kelly's positive demeanor, and overall neatness were well beyond what I had previously experienced from even good handymen. I consider myself pretty capable, but life is short, so if I ever have any projects I'm not in the mood to do, I won't hesitate to call Kelly.

on the plus side, he did the job satisfactorily and cleaned the built up hard water around the old faucet. On the minus side, when I asked if the drain was supposed to disconnect, he said he did not know and did not seem to want to get further involved (I read the directions later and there is a way to insert a part differently for it to remove from the top). Also, I think he should have been more clear about his charges when I made the appointment--$100 to come to the door, plus $50 an hour on top of that--so an hour of his time is worth $150, and i still do not see how that makes $195 for 70 minutes. I am a disabled senior and cannot afford that much so will not be using him again.

Great service. Were in town visiting for a few days. Son's garbage disposal was frozen tightly needing replacing. Called Kelly, explained the problem and time line. He dropped by between jobs and replaced it. Excellent workmanship and a fair price. Will be calling him again.

The best handyman I've ever had!! I had a rotten subfloor that was improved greatly along a new toilet and vinyl flooring on top. Keeps you informed the whole way through and is really knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone who wants a fair price for your household repairs!

I hired Kelly to help with some plumbing issues and minor 'honey-dos' around the house. At this point, he has been over a few times and took care of some problems? that I could have never done on my own.
He was on time and worked as he had just drunk a Redbull, not a moment wasted with no hesitation in regards to how something should be done, or what parts were necessary if any to make sure a return trip was unnecessary.
I do have cause to pause, and re assess after my last encounter.
As with most service provider ( in my experience) the first visit great and on best behavior but after a couple of visits the standards drop which was the case for me.
In my opinion Kelly can be the guy for the job when his head is in the game.

For those of you who read reviews before making a decision--do not believe the 5 star reviews for this guy! We hired Kelly for 2 full days (I could have kept him busy) but only got two 1/2 days out of him. He'll say it's because he works fast but in reality he rushes through the projects. As a result, we were unhappy with 2 out of 3 projects. In fact, we had to totally redo one of the projects. You'd think with his supposed years of experience he'd know how to match hand-textured walls but instead he bought a can of texture at Home Depot which didn't come close to a match. Also, my husband asked for the receipts but Kelly never handed them over.... I would NOT recommend Kelly Handyman Services!

Kelly was great, he installed a new wall AC unit. The old one was difficult to remove but Kelly was able to get the job done. He was efficient and charged us a fair price. He actually came by our house the day after we had called to take a look at the project and even began work. He even helped us pick out a new unit and helped answer all of my questions. He is trustworthy. We will be calling him again to to do other projects we have. I recommend his service.

Kelly Marvin is exceedingly responsive, accommodating, efficient, trustworthy, courteous, and skilled. He provides 1st class customer service from initial contact to job completion.

I needed fast repair of a heavy shed door before departing on a trip but most other repair services including Tuff-Shed customer service in Rohnert Park failed to even return calls. Several were too busy. In contrast Kelly replied to my Yelp email request in under 15 minutes. Even though his schedule was fully packed he worked me in the next day.

On the job he promptly assessed the problem then labored efficiently and skillfully with a plethora of tools typical to first rate contractors and experienced carpenters.

I highly recommend the quality and experience of Kelly's Handyman Services. I would welcome the chance to hire him again.

I gladly found Kelly on Yelp after contacting several handymen in and near Calistoga. He responded right away and made himself available the same day I called! Others were either too busy or never returned my call. He worked efficiently and was early for each appointment that we set. Very professional and courteous.
