WAter line coming into home leaking. Anthony showed up on time, friendly, cheerful and made sure he understood the problem. Hung around waiting for town to shut off water. Asked if anything else needed. He replaced a sill cock and then replaced the line in consultation with town water dept. Impressed how willing he was to work with water dept. (6 guys 5 standing around each taking turns to turn water off! Shut off was broken). 2nd time used Wm. Riley and will do so again. Very pleasant experience with Liz who answered calls!

Riley came to service my oil-fired boiler today. They were fantastic! Not only were they on time and fairly priced, but they took the time to explain exactly what needed to be fixed and, importantly, what didn't need to be repaired. Coming from a family of plumbers, I immediately recognized their expertise and honesty. They know their stuff! If I could give them a 10-star rating, I would.

I have used Riley for almost 20 years and it's crazy to say that! When I had my condo in North Providence I had a water tank let go and they came out and fixed it the next day. They also came and fixed leaking shower valves and backed up toilets and toilets that kept running.

Last week at my house in Cranston I wasn't sure what was going one with water on the floor under my water tank and boiler and water on the pipes in the air! Steve came out Thursday after hours. They came out quick and shut off the water to the tank area so I still had water for the rest of the house ( after I shut off everything)! They came back the next morning to replace the tank which I was super happy with!

The guys are always super polite and friendly but also super helpful about what to look out for in the future. Highly recommended

We started having some issues with our hot water pressure and I called William Riley Plumbing to set up an appointment to diagnose the problem. A young and very courteous gentleman named Anthony came the very next day and said the problem was the hot water heater. It was in its 8th year and with Rhode Island's mineral rich water, hot water heaters usually do not last past 6 or 7 years.

Speaking to an ultra competent plumber like Anthony really does make such a difference when your pipes or appliances start acting up. We rely on our plumbing to work properly every single day and we often take things like a hot shower or bath for granted.

Great service is hard to come by these days but the people at Riley's Plumbing give you confidence that they can handle any plumbing issue and do the work with a high level of excellence. They set a very high bar for themselves and it shows by delivering the kind of service you can trust. When they leave your house, you know the job they just completed has been done the right way and with the utmost integrity.

I called and made an appointment for a home furnace to be serviced.

A day and time was scheduled.

I called back the day before to confirm because it was a no heat issue and it was very important that somebody come and service the furnace.

At this time I was informed that no one was going to come on the scheduled date nor in the immediate future because it was ""the heating season"".

Showed up in a Mini Van and ran my card for $195 just to look and Do NOTHING. Then gave me a pink copy of his recipt and said he would be back to fix it. Called office the following week and they claimed they dont know who I am or have any paperwork. That is called STEALING. I ordered the part online for 127 dollars and fixed it myself. Thats less then it costed to have these THIEFS even so much as look. Extremely unprofessional did not take any pictures, and the office staff is VERY DISMISSIVE, dont plan on a good experience unless u have a WICKED easy repair like the basic pictures they show online .. and u wana Pay TOP Dollar for basic plumbing

We had Wm J Riley replace a boiler in our home. The price quoted was good and all work was performed on time and as promised. My only complaint, which I've seen on a lot of other reviews, was that scheduling was not well organized. I had to call back multiple times and had 2 people come out weeks apart to give me a quote because the first review was apparently lost. Luckily I was not in a rush, so I had no problem waiting. The work was high quality and professional, so I would definitely use them again.

Have only good things to say about this company. They were equally responsive and professional whether they were replacing a boiler or referring us to another plumber because we needed immediate assistance and they were busy.
