Charged $350 for a half hour visit for a what they described as small gas leak behind stove where they reportedly needed to do a simple remove and replace. When we questioned the fee, we were told it was $250 just for the call and visit so that's apparently your starting price point. We were initially told to have our super do the job as it was quite simple but our super is not allowed to do this work in our building. For a ""simple job,"" a $700/hour rate blows my mind. I hate doing reviews like this but feel totally ripped off for something we needed taken care of right away with two young children in the home and no working stove

I called William G. Iafe plumbing after the water heater at my mother's house failed. Within a half hour Patrick and Gene arrived. Patrick quickly diagnosed the problem and provided his recommendations. As I was already inclined to replace rather than repair the aged water heater I went with that recommendation. They made quick work of removing and replacing it with a new unit. Patrick also took it upon himself to thoroughly clean out the chimney area and add additional support to the nearby pipes. Overall very pleased with the job performed and would highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work. If your lucky enough to have Patrick and Gene doing the work I am sure you will be as pleased as we were

Five Star company! Prides itself in customer service and response time in the clients plumbing or heating problems. Crews are proficient and efficient, and are good men with excellent communication skills. Office staff and estimator are also excellent people to deal with. Pricing and cost are competitive and plumbing and heating problems are fixed quickly and correctly.

IAFE has fixed several leaks in and around my apartment. I completely trust Joe and the staff. They are timely, professional, efficient, get the job done and do not bullshit around! They educated me about my building, the leaks and what they were going to do from start to finish. I felt so comfortable with them. They are licensed!
