We enjoyed working with William. He replaced our broken garbage disposal for us. We had hoped to switch the unit to our deeper sink which would require a reroute in the plumbing and he cautioned us that it might not be be possible but he wouldn't know for sure until he tried. He got half way through the project and determined there just wasn't enough space so he replaced the unit in it's original location and only charged us for the cost of replacing the unit, not for all the additional work he did to try and move the unit. Talk about generous. Additionally, one of the plastic pipes he altered attempting to move the unit started to leak and he came right back with a new pipe, fixed the leak and didn't charge any additional fee for the part or extra time. He also kept his work site clean and vacuumed up all the debris before he left. We are huge fans of William and will be loyal customers for our future plumbing needs.

William came by on short notice as my water heater decided to run all night, spilling natural gas into the alley behind my house. Obviously very concerned, William was quick to explain everything that was going on. He is extremely thorough. Unfortunately (for me), the water heater was out of warranty and not repairable, and I had to spring for a tankless hot water heater. While not pleased at the circumstance and having to shell out for a brand new appliance, William went out of his way to find the best unit, advise me on which one to put in, then came in and installed the unit AND hauled away my old one the next day so we weren't without hot water for any longer than necessary. While I'm sure there are cheaper plumbers out there, I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Rest assured, William's not only an awesome guy, he's worth it for being extremely thorough, and for your own peace of mind.

William was great with communication ahead of time and showed up on time for the appointment. He did the replacement of all four of our HOA pressure regulators at the agreed upon price. The job was quite tricky due to the tight quarters of the outdoor water closets, a squeeze for anyone. Two thumbs up and thanks!

I'm really glad I called William Dean for my plumbing issues. He saved the day! Yesterday the sewer drain was clogged and I had no idea of what was happening. My toilets were gurgling, bubbling up, spilling out and not flushing. The kitchen sink was also leaking outside the house with my dirty dish water. William was very patient, friendly and knows his stuff. Roots had broken into the pipe so it was blocked. He also came to my house very quickly another place I called told me that they would be here in 5 days. He was very organized, clean and even had his mask on for COVID safety. I will keep his number for when needed and recommend him. Everything is working great now. Thank you William and Martin.

William did a great job repairing a shower/tub fixture that had been rendered inoperable by another plumber. He was punctual, thorough, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced -- some of the other estimates I got from local plumbers were ridiculous. He was also gracious enough to answer several plumbing questions unrelated to the job without charging me. I will definitely use him again and can recommend him without hesitation!

I would highly recommend William Dean for any plumbing repairs, water leaks and bathroom remodels! I run group homes and have been calling him for support quite a bit the past couple years. I have had him remodel 2 of our bathrooms (they turned out beautiful and efficient for our needs!). He has done all sorts of random jobs from leaks, to water heaters to faucet issues .... you name it! He is always quick to respond, good with communication, fairly priced and does a fantastic job. I call him for all of my own needs now too, as I feel he is trustworthy and reliable. If you have a need in this area, I wouldn't call anyone else!

I needed a shut-off valve replaced and needed it done quickly. William responded quickly to the estimate and gave me a set price and stuck to it. I had another company come over and they quoted triple the estimate I got from William. He came on time and wore the appropriate mask covering. He was kind and professional. He looked over the problem and fixed it quickly. He even tightened my loose faucet for free. I highly recommend him and will use him for all my future plumbing needs.

This is my second attempt to post this review of William Dean Plumbing. Previously posted 11/6/20:
My water heater went out on me and was leaking. I called three plumbing companies for quotes. The first company was a big mistake. The sales representative spent the whole time telling me everything that was wrong with my water heater. Long story short, I asked for a replacement quote not a repair. When he saw I was not buying his sales speech he pulled out his laptop and said to me, ""Let me educate you!"" I looked at him with fire in my eyes, ""I am not stupid nor do I need you to educate me!"" I ended it right there. Sent him packing! The next company I called texted me back asking what I needed done. Simple explanation gas water heater change out. Never heard back from them. Guess there wasn't enough money in it for them! I searched for ""independent"" plumbers and up popped William Dean. Just what I was looking for! I sent William some pictures of my problem, got a quote back, and we set a date. He showed up on time, fully equipped, and got to work. I stood by, asked questions and he explained as he worked.
There was one small re-configuration he had to make due to one of the new water heater's connections being in a different position from my old setup. Overall just added $10 more to the original quote. He did a fantastic job! The work looks neat and clean. I have already referred him to my son who will need some plumbing work soon. Stay away from the corporate companies. Stick to your local independent labor. Call William Dean for your plumbing work! Very friendly, reasonable, and affordable!
