Good but very expensive plumbing services questionable business decisions with customer relations. Loss of me and my family as customers after 15 years and between $25,000 and $30,000 billing that could have been settled for a measly $100. You get what you pay for.

My water heater blew and under 24 hours, they had me up and running with a new hot water heater. I couldn't believe it.

The first time I called them was a few years back for a leak behind my washer. They collected all info on my hot water heater and boiler and asked for pics too. I didn't even remember. When I called, they pulled up the info and knew exactly what I needed. Their first question, do you need help finding your main turning off and the specific turn off to your HWH and told me why. It didn't occur to me that the water was automatically refilling the HWH. They showed up the next morning with a new HWH, parts and brought it up to code. Then to my horror, as I was moving boxes, I spotted another problem with a spigot pipe about to burst. They took care of that too. Their people are always the nicest, understanding and easy to talk to. I just can't say enough. Bonus here, they quote on the entire project, not an hourly rate, parts and initial visit fee. THE NEXT MORNING I HAD HOT WATER!!!!!! Call now to at least register your info. Don't wait until you're standing in water and don't have time to collect it nor the patients as you are cleaning up water and trying to mitigate the flood damage in your basement. I was standing in water, pulled out my cell phone and made ONE call. ONE PHONE CALL!

As soon as he came into the door he started upselling me on a water softener before even looking at the issue. The conversation went like this - I already have a water softener... it is not working... but I do get soft water in my shower... it's old, technology improved a lot now. His quote was $3,600 for a Novo softener that costs $1,300. Installation costs are $2,300, almost twice as much as the cost of the unit for a house that already has all the piping and hookups.

As for the actual repair, the reason for the call was that I was getting warm water from hot water handle. He charged $125 to diagnose the problem and another $450 to fix it but the problem still remains. I still get only warm water from the hot water handle. The reason for two stars instead of one is that he actually fixed this issue in my basement bathroom and he struggled to get to open the handle to get to the valve.

I think this company is only interested in installing new appliances that have huge margins, not really interested in solving the customer's plumbing problems.

Charged $325 to tell me the issue was Grouting for a bathroom leak when the real issue was found be much bigger than just grouting. It was a compromised shower pan.

My experience was only with One technician but based on that their are far much better plumbers available in Livingston/East hanover area that are honest and offer better prices. Above all they are willing to take the time to find and resolve the issues.

I have had excellent service each time I have contact William Diamond Plumbing. The plumbers explained the issue I had with hard water. I just had a he water softener installed. The plumber was excellent that came to do the work. I felt that he is knowledgeable and honest. Excellent

I had another issue with my AC. I received excellent service when the technician came out and inspected the unit and gave excellent suggestions in terms of leak alarms etc. which is super helpful. Excellent and knowledgeable for both AC and plumbing issues

Let me start with the good thing about this company. The technician are doing a clean job. They put on shoe cover and they did a nice a clean up after the job is done.

Now the bad part, 1)They are expensive. They came onsite for free quote and they asked 300 for shower cartridge replacement because my water temperature is not right. I later found out a cartridge is only 50 bucks at most and the amount of labor should be minimal in usual situation (like 15 min). So I would expect 150 be more reasonable price.

2) I think that is the more serious one. The flat price they quote are NOT flat. When they initially say the 300, they say that is a flat price against all situations. Well, after cartridge replacement, it start leaking, which is a problem I did not have. After my call, they came again and replaced the cartridge but the leaking did not stop. Now they suggest replacing the shower valve for additional 500+.

I complained to the office and one manager said he would send another technical and see if they can tune the cartridge and if not they will see what they can do. And the next technical does not fix the problem. Annoyed by the continuous leaking and convinced that shower valve is necessary, I green light that. But I wanted to talk with that manager regarding to the fee. The technician said he only got hold of that person indirectly and can only start with the fee they initially purposed. I Okayed that thinking I shall be able to reconcile with that manager later. Well, big mistake, that manager now completely refuse to renegotiate the fee.

In summary, they are expensive and their so called flat fee are not really flat. So be aware.

Use at your own risk. Don't use diamond plumbing. They overcharged me by $500 dollars on an initial repair and charged me $303 on a return. And my problem is not solved. They are not capable of well repairs.

Came to the house to give an estimate for a 15 minute valve repair. Refused to provide rates or minimum charge over the phone.
Wanted $280, far more than my primary care physician charges for 15 minutes.
Are these guys for real?
Thank goodness my leak wasn't an emergency. Escorted hithe exit and found a reasonably priced plumber.

Really guys, denial won't help your pricing problem.

I woke up on a Sunday morning a brisk 54 degree bedroom. The temperature was rapidly dropping. It was about 9 degrees outside (not an exaggeration) and I had no heat. I called no less than 12 plumbers, and no one was returning my call. A friend recommended William C. Diamond Plumbing and Heating. I called and received an immediate response. They arrived within 2 hours (which is amazing considering the time of year, outside temperature, day of the week), and worked on both the pipes and my boiler until the job was complete.

They were friendly, courteous, and professional. The name of my plumber was Chris S., and he was excellent. He knew exactly how to fix the problem, and did not give up even when my boiler and pipes would not cooperate. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing and heating concerns.

We had a minor leak and called on a Friday afternoon. They were at our house within an hour, fixed the problem in about 30 minutes.
They were friendly and polite and did a perfect job - fixed the leak and left the bathroom as clean as it was when they arrived.
$150+tax for 20 minutes of work.
