If I could give negative stars, I would. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. He was hired to remodel a bathroom to make it handicapped accessible, which he stated he could do. As the other reviewer stated, he seems polite and knowledgeable at first. His work started off strong then became sloppy and a complete disaster. We were clear with what we wanted done and how we wanted it done, but he would do whatever he wanted, then get angry when we told him to correct it. He said we created too much work for him by making changes after he complete work, but if he had done the work the way we discussed BEFORE he started, he wouldn't have had to go back and fix it. He tried to leave raw edges of tile showing on shower walls, which we told him from the start we didn't want. When asked to fix it, he said it was never discussed. It was discussed...several times over many days. He was so far behind schedule (due to not showing up some days, leaving after an hour or two, or leaving to go do work for someone else) that we had to do a lot of his job for him just to attempt to get the bathroom done before the holiday. He leaves a mess wherever he goes. He left garbage (food and drinks) thrown around our bathroom and closet for days (until we cleaned them up after finding them buried under all of his tools). The work is about 85% complete and he quit, stating that we are too difficult to work with. We have been nothing but polite and accommodating throughout this process. We have been accessible everyday and any concerns could have been brought to our attention at any time. It is now 8 days past the stated completion date and the work is still not done. He also said we are over budget on materials, however we reconciled his receipts with his estimate for materials and there is still money left over. We even gave him a copy of our reconciliation for him to match up to his receipts. He is a liar and a cheat who expects to get paid for work he doesn't do. He damaged a door, our vanity, the faucets, and clothes in my closet and has not fixed/replaced them as he said he would. He expects to be compensated for his mistakes. There is so much more that could go into this review, but if you've read this far hopefully it is enough for you to know not to hire him.

It's been two years and I have now been contacted by two other women who used his service. Both have told me of sexual overtures by him, and of bad work done. One has said that he ran off with her money and did not do the work. She has screen shots off her phone to prove the sexual harrassment. Then I was contacted by a male worker who said he did all the work for him but has not been paid, and he intends to file a lawsuit.
