This Company is extremely expensive. we have been a member for a long, long time we pay $9.99 a month. that gives us a $20 visit discount if we need their help, which we have maybe 5 or 6 times over the years to check our heater. No work.($79) Their repairs are exorbitant. $590.00 to put in 2 plugs. They won't give you a breakdown of parts and labor. We went to a small local plumber and got it done for $300.

Wighton's replaced a hot water heater that was leaking. I didn't take time to call and see what other rates were as I needed the water off then to keep my water bill from going through the roof. They are going to email an invoice showing just the cost of $2875. I requested showing how much the tank was, any part's required, and the labor cost. They don't do that I was told. Know now i could have bought a tank for $500-700 elsewhere. My son in law is furious saying they took advantage of an elderly, single woman. Won't ever do business with them again and no recommendation from me.

We were told they would be here ""first thing in the morning "". It's noon, no show, no call or text. My husband lost at least two hours of work waiting for them. Why? Why should it be so difficult to communicate. This is why people hate tradesmen.

I bought a York furnace for my home in 2020. The cost was $7,000. I later had an energy-efficient thermostat installed. As the thermostat was electric and my furnace was natural gas, I was curious if there was an override on the furnace in case of a power outage. I called the office and spoke with ""V,"" who advised I would need to schedule a home visit from a technician. I advised I simply needed an answer to a simple question. V repeated my need to schedule an appointment because they ""don't give out free information."" When asked if I could speak with a supervisor for clarification, she claimed all people were out to lunch (at 3:00 p.m.) but that they would tell me the same answer offered by V. If this is how Wighton's treats their customers, I suggest you purchase your HVAC needs elsewhere.

We were told there would be a $99 site visit fee and diagnostics beyond that would be extra. We had a leak. When the technician showed up, we were told the diagnostic fee would be $315 and if we declined that option we still owed $99 just to answer the door. They need to tell people their fee for diagnosis is $315 before coming out. I clearly explained we didn't know the source of the leak and needed help figuring out what the problem is. We wouldn't have agreed to that price over the phone and gone with a different option...

All I needed was some new filters for my reverse osmosis system. Wighton's Heating and Air Conditioning charged my card $715 for new filters, and I still can't use my reverse osmosis system because they didn't finish the job. If you are smart, you will stay as far as possible from Wighton's Heating and Air Conditioning as they will rip you off and not complete the work. You have been warned.

These guys are not good. They incorrectly installed our hosting and air conditioning. They set it up for natural gas, when we are clearly on propane, as we live in country. Had to be changed over after the install. They recently ""serviced"" our unit and two weeks later it goes out. Then they don't show up when they say they will to make whatever repairs that are necessary.

Unfortunately Wighton's is under new ownership. I usually use Knechts who I love. They were not available. So, I called Wightons for a pretty simple job. A job that should have been $150 maximum was billed for $482. I was in a difficult position and signed off on it to avoid taking a day off from work. I left a dear friend to oversee the repair. At work I got a call that an additional $800 needed to be paid for the repair of an old pipe associated with the job that was being done. That was $1,200 for three hours of work. I disputed the charge for a few days with the owner ship. I was ultimately reimbursed $625.

The new ownership tried to say that they were working off a new pricing sheet that reflected industry standard. That appeared to be a bunch of baloney!

A good friend had to patch the wall to fix the mess that Wightons had been made.

I rarely leave a negative review anywhere but the experience I had with Wightons was horrible!!

I am a technician at sundays car wash on Santa Rosa st. Brand new business that's been operating for 3 months, unfortunately our reclaim system ""water waste processor"" was clogged and back flowing water constantly. We were unable to use it and the investment was going to waste. We had tried multiple plumbing companies and got the same result each time. No help and just a bill at the end. Carlos came in with an amazing attitude and helped me out till the solution was fixed. Along with snaking debree he cut out piping lowered the flow height and raised a pipe causing no more back flow issues and solving our 3 month long journey. Along with a positive attitude jokes and amazing effort he backed it with a warranty. I will continue to use this company and will always recommend it to anyone in the future.

We tried to install a new kitchen faucet, and it ended up being a disaster with outdated fittings and leaks everywhere. The technician from Wighton's came late in the evening. He was calm, professional, and efficient. In under an hour, he had fixed everything, plus one or two other problems that we didn't know about. For example, the garbage disposal wasn't attached properly. It came off and hit him on the head. We would not hesitate to call Wighton's again for any plumbing problems; Michael did an amazing job.
