Contracted with Wighton's to install Air Conditioning at our home. The entire ordeal was unbelievable. Employees showed up on first day, ran out of gas for copper line brazing, and had no backup supply. First day ended at 1:30pm. This comedy of errors continued for the entire time they attempted to get the install completed. During the last few days the workers realized they had crossed pipes and wires in the attic. Back in the attic to fix that issue. That was a Thursday. On Saturday morning my son noticed a stream of water coming from a recessed light. While in the attic, workers cracked a fire sprinkler head and stepped on fire sprinkler pipe, causing water leaks. I exercised my right, under the 100% guarantee, to have Wighton's come remove the system and return my money. I am now dealing with 50k worth of damage that I had to fight a 3rd party insurance to pay. I will be out of pocket for some things as the insurance was too cheap to take care of us completely. And Wighton's? Not a letter or phone call from the owners. Through no fault of our own we will be spending the next couple of weeks in a hotel while our home is repaired.

The details are too lengthy, but over-priced and underserviced captures our experience. A two to three-day install took THREE weeks. Everyone was nice, but they simply Did Not get the job done. The absolute worse part? I shared my experience with the boss via email and letter and he didn't have the decency or common courtesy to respond or apologize. Avoid Wighton's at all costs cause it sure will ""cost"" you.

Wighton's is the best company I've never used. Let me explain. My wife and I are in the market for installing central air. We got several quotes, including from Wighton's. We heard from a friend that they were not the cheapest quote, but she had the most confidence in their competence and professionalism. My wife and I would wholeheartedly agree.

Their quote came in pretty high -- almost double the next-highest quote we got for installing central AC. But the result is that I'm more suspicious of the cheaper companies, not resentful toward Wighton's. After talking with Malcom, who came out to do a site visit, we're confident that this is just how much it takes to get the job down right. We were very impressed with Malcom's professionalism and knowledge about the process.

So, when we move forward with this project, we will get back in touch with you Wighton's first, for sure.

I highly recommend the great team at Wighton's. Malcom and Mike were tremendous. Malcom was extremely informative, no pressure, and just a great resource in helping us figure out the right solution for our home. Mike handled the installation and we couldn't be happier. Great experience overall!

Wow. What a frustrating experience, two months in the making.
Multiple reschedules, lack of communication, business-splaining how they do things and how their industry works, in the place of maintaining the relationship and customer experience.
And all with an open bid for AC installation from a very confident Patrick, including a potential upgrade to new heater.
Very disheartening to see a local shop handle their long time customers this way.

Great company with great customer service. The sales rep that came out (Pat S.) is a great guy who was very informative and not over bearing. He didn't sugar coat anything, and really laid out the facts in a clear way and gave us the choice. This company is on the higher price end, but it is this way because they have VERY professional install team (great at work clean up, very detailed, and polite). They also give a lot to their employees, which in turns makes them do better work. You get what you pay for, and this company is really top notch. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking into replacing their A/C or any HVAC work.

We just finished having a new heater, air conditioner, new attic ductwork, and a new whole house fan installed in our house. We were very impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of Wighton's Heating and Air Conditioning. We worked with comfort advisor James Lamon, and had installers Curtis Williams and Knoll Smith. We could not have asked for a better team of experts than we had with Curtis and Knoll. They took the time and the care to do each part of the difficult operation as if they were working on their own homes. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with heating or air conditioning needs. It is a 5-star operation and one you can trust your home to. We were very impressed and are enjoying the comfort of our new system. Feeling thankful and very blessed.

Our heater stopped blowing hot air off and on and wouldn't shut off. Basically just having issues. I tried one local company that was clueless. I had Wighton's out and they diagnosed the problem within an hour. They got me a quote and had the part ordered and installed same week. Price was good and comparable to what I found on google for the part and labor. I'll definitely use them again.
