We really appreciated David coming to help with our toilet and also discovering the pressure regulator was malfunctioning. David is very professional, thorough, honest and knowledgeable. He was able to fix everything quickly and even came back later in the day to check his work and make sure everything was functioning properly. I hired David and Dan to install a new gas shut off valve for our stove. They showed up on time and completed the job in just a few minutes. They were friendly and efficient and explained everything in detail to me as they installed the new valve. David also inspected the dishwasher and garbage disposal drain connections, making some helpful suggestions in the process.
I highly recommend Whyte plumbing. I plan to have them return and install an emergency shut off valve for the gas line.

Hadn't had a plumber over in a while, so we had a list of things to take care of: tankless water heater servicing, a replacement cartridge for the pre-filter, main line servicing, and a bathroom faucet repair. David and Daniel took care of business. The main line hadn't been checked in a long time, so I had a video inspection done as well. After snaking, David applied root-killing chemicals so we won't need to snake the main line every year. The faucet repair, which should have been no big deal, turned out to be a tough job because the old fitting was corroded and did NOT want to come off. David was able to get it done! Everything was taken care of with attention to detail, professionalism, and a cheerful attitude. I'm a happy customer. If you need a plumber, I recommend Whyte Plumbing wholeheartedly.

Really good plumber and a straight shooter. I hired Dave to add some pressure regulators, a pressure relief valve, and descale our tankless. When he came over for the original quote he was great about explaining everything so that it was easy to understand. He followed up with a quote and we hired him for the job. When he and his son came over to do the work, both of them got right on it and spent several hours working on a pretty hot day. Even with the heat, they seemed to be having fun out there which was good to see. The work looks great and functions nicely. The pricing was very reasonable. I definitely recommend Dave and his son!

Not what we wanted to hear ... but David was back the next day with the new unit , the quality of which was superior to what we had at a fair price.

Appreciated David coming in last minute to help with our water heater. Great service and fast fix! I absolutely recommend him. Wore a mask and practiced safety measures. Went out of his way to mention our heater temp was higher than needed, since we have 2 little ones. Glad my husband chose his service. Will be using their service yearly now.

I have only the highest praise for David Whyte. With his over 40 years of experience, you know right away you're in excellent hands. He is so knowledgeable; with the added feature that he's just plain fun to be with. He installed a Takagi tankless water heater at my house years ago and has been servicing it yearly ever since. Sometimes you just get the feeling that someone is doing the least they can to finish a job just to move on to the next. David is the complete opposite. He is so thorough in his work and so attentive to details. He always go over and above what one would expect.
As an example, I had a Kohler bathroom faucet that was leaking at the handles. After Kohler sent the replacement parts, I called David to install them. What should have been a routine installation turned into a marathon, hours and hours, because the parts turned out to be defective. But we didn't know that until David, part by part, tested every possible piece of the puzzle, over and over and over again, trying every possible way to make these parts work, only to discover the faucet couldn't be fixed with the defective parts we were given. And he never complained about the extra time he spent trying to fix it. Once I received a completely new Kohler faucet, David returned and had the whole unit installed in just over an hour.
There's good reason David is the forensic plumbing investigator & expert plumbing witness for office of the city attorney. I would feel totally confident in recommending David for any of your plumbing needs.

David of Whyte Plumbing is a rockstar of the plumbing business! An installation of an automatic earthquake shutoff valve required a bit of ingenuity, but with over 40 years of experience, it was absolutely no problem for him. Following the work, he arranged for an inspection by the Department of Building and Safety, and a permit for the completed work was presented soon after the installation.

David is very personable and highly experienced . . . I look forward to working with him on my future plumbing projects!
