After discovering that my water heater was leaking, I had a plumber from Whitney come out right away. It was initially a small leak and not causing a problem. He said it needed to be replaced and left, doing nothing about the active leak. I followed up several times, as the water heater was still leaking. This was two weeks ago. Since then the leak got worse and the basement has flooded and now I need new flooring, and a new wall. I had a basement restoration professional come out as soon as I saw the extent of the damage and he was able to rig up a temporary drain for the water heater leak in about fifteen minutes. If the plumber had done this, I wouldn't need a whole new basement. I guess maybe I was just supposed to shut the water off to the house for two weeks?
This company scheduled 5 appointments for us. 1 was canceled and they never came or called for the other 4. Very unprofessional!
We were referred here through our warranty company because our sewer was backing up into our drain in the basement. The first guy that came out was very nice, did what he needed to do said it was tree roots, made sure it wasn't backing up and left. A week later it happened again he came out did The same thing, then told us it needed to be scoped to see what was going on. took A while to get scheduled with the one guy that did the scoping. Once he came he made 2 personal phone calls and told us it was tree roots and there was a break. He said someone from the office would contact the city to find out where our main sewer line was and would give us a quote. A week goes by and I don't hear back from anyone, so I call the office. They said it would be 24-48 hours to get a quote. I get a quote sent to my email at 12:37am Stating it would be $12,500 with no explanation on why it would be that much. we called the city to see if anyone had contacted them and nope sure didn't ! So of course I call a different company to come out to get a second opinion. They told me we didn't have a break it was just tree roots and it would only be 2,500. That's a BIG difference, it makes me wonder how many people would of just paid that.....
Mark G.he is worst contractor i have dealt with. i have worked as a property manager for 21 years and never and never ran into a PLUMBER that is so incompetent.my sewer line backed and had sewage all over my basement.they showed up and spent two hours running a snake through all of mw lines and they stated the line from the house to a newer piece of the line.it was eight foot piece of line.i called to schedule a day to have the job done.they stated that they have to wait for miss dig.my yard was was marked off in a timely matter.i then i called the plumber to let them no that was complety done,the lady that works as a scheduler,she stated that she had to turn this to someone and they would call me back the next day.they never called me back so i called the same person and again they must be turned over to someone else and they would contact me the next day.again they never called backed.so again i called her back and i was put on hold for fifteen minutes and then she hung up on me and then i called backed back and they never answered.during all this time i spent $200.00 on a pump and wet vac plus going down in the basement to clean up the sewage which was exremly gross.so far i have put in 20 labor hours.today i called them and read the riot act om their answering machine. when this startet she said i would have to put 50 percent down,$2400.00 tomorrow i will call them again and if they give them one more chance.if im not satisfied i will go to kalamazoo and demand my money back,and if they do not they will see how angery i can get and then i will contact an attorney here in three rivers and file a complaint.they all so owe me me for what i spent and labor. i wish them luck.
Horrible company! They claimed they were ordering parts for a month then later said insurance company denied claim. Total scam company. Technician didn't even inspect pool filter.
They did not show up. Not once, but twice. There office responds poorly as well. I cannot recommend unless you like to waste your time.
I can't begin to explain how frustrated I am with this company. They were assigned to me by my home warranty company and I have been dealing with The same unresolved issue since the end of December 2020. It is now March 26, 2021. I can't get anyone to return my calls I can't get anyone to pick up the phone , I leave text messages voicemail messages to no avail. I'm fighting with my home warranty company to get me another provider and we're all waiting on Whitney to give a diagnostic on my issue.
The people that have been to my home have been very professional but the fact remains that my issue is still unresolved and the staff is incommunicado and I am beyond frustrated. I cannot recommend this company.
I cannot believe that I haven't received a call, text message or email from this company with an acknowledgement or apology for waiting all day for service!!! My scheduled appointment was 10:30 AM - 2:30PM. It is now 3:11 PM And I've heard nothing from them at all!!!!!
Extremely unprofessional... no excuse when you can't even give a customer the courtesy of a text message!!
I have had 7 appointments now and 0 work has been done. They will reschedule your appointments repeatedly with about 1 hour notice and not consult you about day or time. The new appointment will always be a weekday as they do not work weekends, and will also likely be rescheduled. If they do show up they will say they don't have what they need to do the job and also leave, that has happened twice now. All of this is for 1 job. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous.
Updated review: The company reached out after they saw the review. They were respectful and apologized for the way the job was handled. They had offered to have the guys come back out and redo the job free of charge. We declined but ask that they refund us some of the money. They were very receptive to that and refunded us some of the out of pocket expense without any argument or negotiating. We really appreciated their customer service and taking accountability for their job. They were very easy to work with and really overall professional. We would use them again.
