Horrible company! They claimed they were ordering parts for a month then later said insurance company denied claim. Total scam company. Technician didn't even inspect pool filter.

I can't begin to explain how frustrated I am with this company. They were assigned to me by my home warranty company and I have been dealing with The same unresolved issue since the end of December 2020. It is now March 26, 2021. I can't get anyone to return my calls I can't get anyone to pick up the phone , I leave text messages voicemail messages to no avail. I'm fighting with my home warranty company to get me another provider and we're all waiting on Whitney to give a diagnostic on my issue.

The people that have been to my home have been very professional but the fact remains that my issue is still unresolved and the staff is incommunicado and I am beyond frustrated. I cannot recommend this company.

I cannot believe that I haven't received a call, text message or email from this company with an acknowledgement or apology for waiting all day for service!!! My scheduled appointment was 10:30 AM - 2:30PM. It is now 3:11 PM And I've heard nothing from them at all!!!!!
Extremely unprofessional... no excuse when you can't even give a customer the courtesy of a text message!!

I have had 7 appointments now and 0 work has been done. They will reschedule your appointments repeatedly with about 1 hour notice and not consult you about day or time. The new appointment will always be a weekday as they do not work weekends, and will also likely be rescheduled. If they do show up they will say they don't have what they need to do the job and also leave, that has happened twice now. All of this is for 1 job. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous.

Updated review: The company reached out after they saw the review. They were respectful and apologized for the way the job was handled. They had offered to have the guys come back out and redo the job free of charge. We declined but ask that they refund us some of the money. They were very receptive to that and refunded us some of the out of pocket expense without any argument or negotiating. We really appreciated their customer service and taking accountability for their job. They were very easy to work with and really overall professional. We would use them again.

I came across Whitney Electric & Plumbing from my home warranty company. I had several issues throughout my home which needed urgent attention. Al, the technician assigned to my area arrived and succinctly explained the issues and how to tackle them efficiently and thoroughly. This was a bit of a complicated situation since we have an older home, nevertheless, Al assured us it was not going to be any difficulties in rectifying the prior electricians work. Whitney Electric handled all the back and forth with the insurance company and scheduling the appointments. After two short visits, all my electrical issues were resolved. (Many parts were needed in order to finish). Whitney Electric always kept in contact with me about the appointments in a very professional manner (text and email) so I never felt like they forgot about my home.

My home was 2 new beautiful working fans and our electric panel is up to date and brand new. Al and Whitney Electric are now my ""go to"" for all my electrical needs. I found them to be very reliable, trustworthy, and attentive to getting the job done 'right'. We are all so thankful for the great job and helping us to keep our home safe and working properly. Thanks again

WHITNEY PLUMBING IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT USE THEM EVER! My appliance warranty company sent them out to fix my whirlpool tub. Big Al came out to my house the 1st time, he couldn't fit through the crawlspace and refused to do the work, they never scheduled another person to do the work, they just collected the money from the warranty company. I had to follow up with my warranty company for them to come back out after WEEKS of trying to get a hold of them over the phone, which they never answer. 2nd guy came out gave the diagnoses and also refused to do the work, until it was ""approved"" by the warranty company"" THEY NEVER CONTACTED THE WARRANTY COMPANY, THEY JUST TOLD THEM THEY DID THE WORK AND THEY DID NOT!! AGAIN COLLECTION MONEY FOR NO WORK DONE!! After a 3rd time, they refused to tell the warranty company the truth that they did not do the work. Now I'm stuck having to pay another company AGAIN to do the work they NEVER DID!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

Bob and his crew from Whitney are wonderful. I needed a new eyewash and shower station installed at my work, and they did a great job. They were on time, and very friendly. When they discovered my water heater wasn't large enough to produce the amount of water i needed to meet my companies specs, they called in another person, who showed up right away, and from start to finish, it only took two days. VERY VERY Impressed.

If I could rate to the negative side, this is where Whitney Plumbing would fall. This is the second time Whitney has been contracted for plumbing work in my home. The first time they were hired to replace a discharge pump on the laundry tub. Whitney requested an extra $180.00 for pipe modifications. This is one pump on and one pump off, connecting to existing piping. After pictures were sent to Whitney; they backed off on the pipe modification. Nothing needed to be modified. Therefore, no additional fee required after Whitney was proven wrong

Whitney is currently contracted to replace a faucet in the kitchen and a faucet in the bathroom. Whitney is requesting an additional $160.00 for each faucet install for pipe modifications. Sink 1 hole faucet, simple install, one-off, and one on. Simply connect to the flex connectors currently in place.

Watch for extra fees that are BS. I can only think of a poor elderly person that would not realize these fees are fabricated and pay the money. This is a scam! Beware
