When you wait a whole week for an appt, are not a morning person & work nights, and they are a No Show.... Unreliable - I've also 'heard' they are slow and super expensive.

zero communication. was supposed to call me when plumber arrived so I could tell him what EXACTLY I wanted him to do. instead he """"thought@ it was a straightforward shower faucet installation. it wasn't, which is WHY I wanted a call. only wanted the diverter replaced. now he did a great job...just not what I wanted. left premises with parts I need to take back to store and 3 phone calls, one vm and one facebook message later he has STILL not called me back. his actions have cost me $100 in returnable items. so if you dont care how they do it AND not give an itemized invoice then sure, you can't go wrong. if these matter, then look elsewhere.

Came out immediately when my kitchen was flooded & stopped the leak before if caused damage and repaired the pipes. Even while short staffed and very hard to come by at this point in time. Very quickly could get me taken care of. Thank you to the lady's in the office and the plumber who came out!

Whitmore plumbing was called in late October regarding the back flow meter check as required of our HOA by the county. Paperwork was forwarded to them and the HOA was put """"in the Q."""" After a month, I called to check on their service, mainly fearing I had missed receipt of a bill. Still """"in the Q."""" 3 calls in December resulted in the same response. Finally this month the response was that they no longer had anyone who could perform this check. No informative call, nor an email- just dropped the ball. I have since found a company who is coming this week with one phone call. I would never recommend Whitmore Plumbing to anyone.

They came the day they said and installed it in one day. They came back the day they said to haul off the old cabinet. The crew was a joy to work with.

After numerous calls they finally got me on the calendar to do work on newly stubbed bathrooms. They booked me a month out. I drove in from out of town and they said I wasn't on their calendar. Jessica had confirmed that I was though. Very frustrating, unprofessional and rude! How about you mix in some organization with your scheduling? How about some accountability for your screw up? They are the last plumbing company I would ever use! Don't waste your time.

Our hot water heater died on us and after calling my long list of plumbers and contractors, no one could get out to help us or they wouldn't call me back. After almost 6 days without hot water, Whitmore heard about our situation and came out first thing the next morning. Fast and excellent service by Josh. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs! Thank you! We finally have hot water!!!

I had scheduled appointments DAILY over a 5, yes 5 day period of time. Not ONCE did one person ever call & tell me they were going to be late, delayed, or offer a reason. Day after day I called & left messages. Each day I was assured there would be a plumber to address my problem. Never showed. How can a business truly exist like this? 7 days later someone showed up to do the job.

Contacted them and had an appt scheduled between 1-3 yesterday . At 4 , I called because no plumber, no call Brian said we were next on the list Called at 5:30. ...left message because no calm no plumber? Requested to be contacted today As of noon, no call Totally unprofessional...

I employed Whitmore Plumbing to install a water shut off outside my Ladys Island house several years ago, making it possible for me to leave the home without worry about broken hoses and pipes. For several years I trusted my house was safe from catastrophic water damage. But after a short out of town trip last week, I discovered by chance that the valve, when closed , still allowed water to flow. Thus a leaking water heater or overflowing toilet, or any number of scenarios, could have resulted in water running throughout the duration of a vacation or business trip, causing thousands of dollars in damages. I called Whitmore and asked for a technician to investigate the valve. I needed it fixed, but I also wanted to know what caused the malfunction. When I made the appointment, I told the company rep that if it had been improperly installed I felt Whitmore should not charge me to fix or replace it. A technician came out, confirmed the valve wasn't working and then called Jason Whitmore (company owner). The tech relayed a message from Mr. Whitmore that the valve was out of warranty and that Mr. Whitmore told him to go on to the next job. At this point, the cause of the problem had not been identified, but I was told Jason would call me in a few minutes. It's been 4 days and there's been no call, despite four follow up calls from me to Whitmore. In the meantime, I called another local plumber. He removed the valve and pointed out an improper amount of glue had been used in the initial installation (by Whitmore-- I have the invoice). The glue obstructing the valve's operation made it impossible to fix; the whole thing had to be replaced. I again called Whitmore and left a detailed message. Again, no call back. Since the original valve was improperly installed, Whitmore has an ethical responsibility to reimburse me for the valve replacement. Furthermore, Whitmore should revise their business practices to insure calls from customers are returned. This is not a matter of warranty. It is a matter of taking responsibility if you didn't do the job right in the first place. The good reputation of any business rests on treating customers respectfully, and doing the the right thing if you've made a mistake. Charles Cornett
